We booked online for a mid morning Sunday breakfast and were warmly met by a friendly team member who showed us to our table. When we arrived the cafe was quite busy with all tables occupied. Tables were well spaced apart to make it comfortable. The decor was very pleasant and there is a choice of sitting outside under the fans (or heater) on the deck or on the footpath or inside in air con.

The menu had so many choices available for gluten free and dairy free options. Our meals were very nicely presented and delicious. We ordered the savoury crepes that were gluten free and dairy free. They came with fresh chilli and fresh herbs - coriander and mint. The meal itself was light, fresh and full of flavour. The kitchen and waitress were happy to provide extra chilli at request. The crepes were very delicious. If you would like a more substantial meal I suggest that you also add on some of the extras that are available.

The cafe also makes fresh juices and provides a good selection of hot and cold drinks. I enjoyed the vegan iced chai (sticky date flavoured) on almond milk and the green juice. Both were lovely.

Whilst we had Brisbane tap water with our meal, the cafe also provides at a small charge bottomless filtered ($5) and sparkling water. ($7)

They run a really good operation here. We found the service to be very friendly, attentive, helpful and on point. The kitchen is an open style where you can see and hear the chefs at work. Everyone was kind to each other and worked well as a team. Everything was clean and tidy.

I’lll...

Average food and TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! It started with the wrong coffee as we ordered flat white and they gave us latte. We were not bothered too much by it but then a dish was served missing extras sausages we ordered. The plate was taken without explanation but okay it was returned with the sausages pretty soon. We were not impressed by the food but they're okay. The waitress wasn't hospitable but we can live with it. However pretty much as soon as we finished the food, the waitress took the plates without asking and directed us to pay. And that's when we started to feel annoyed. We booked the table up to a later time but we did notice some people were waiting so we decided to leave and make the table available for them. The terrible service reached to the peak after we paid the bills as we noticed there's a surcharge for scrambled eggs for an order of American waffle breakfast. On the menu (attached), it says I get to choose "eggs my own way" so I chose scramble eggs and there was no advice of any extra charge for that choice. I took the receipt to the male staff and asked why there's a surcharge and he said they charge extra for scramble eggs. I told him that was never advised by the staff nor the menu. The male staff said "I didn't write the menu." And "There's nothing I can do." in a rude attitude. It's only $1 but it's not about the money but respect and honesty. I will never come back to this Cafe and will tell everyone I know not to go as this Cafe seems to think they can just rip off customers whatever...

Having moved into the area recently, I was looking for some local places to call my own and support local businesses. With the experience I had recently I have to wonder why I would bother to do that. Being seated just before 1pm, I was given a menu and a glass of water. Glancing over the menu I was ready to order in just a few minutes. However I was ignored or forgot about and sat there staring out the window for well over 10 minutes. During this time, 2 people came in and ordered takeaway coffees. Looking around there was a couple of suits out on the back deck and another person sipping on their takeaway coffee cup and me, so it's not like I was in during peak time and the staff had a tough time keeping track of customers and who's ordered or not. I could hear the staff having chats, laughs and giggles out the back all while I was sitting there twiddling my thumbs waiting to order. The lack situational awareness displayed by the staff was quite poor to not know what was happening aournd them, especially when I was the only customer waiting to order. Tired of waiting I up and left. As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression and it appears to me they are doing so well that they don't want my money. This was the service I received. The food might be good, great even but I wouldn't know because I never...

A beautiful and very aesthetic cafe. I went on Easter Saturday, and it was fairly busy. The service was pretty good, standard. Based on all the good reviews, I was pretty hyped about this place and brought my friends along. It did turn out to be a little underwhelming. We’ve noticed that the portion sizes are smaller than other cafes with similar pricing. An example being the avocado toast dish with roast pumpkin hummus and pomegranate. Was about $19, but they only provided one piece of toast. The local cafe I usually go to near mine has a very similar dish but provides two pieces. Therefore my friends left, not feeling very full even though they had added on an extra side. The mushroom omelette was pretty average and not something I would get again, at least not for $24. The burger seemed to provide the most bang for buck, and was something my friends and I were salivating over as we watched my partner devour it. My mango tea drink seemed to be rather watered down and didn’t have much flavour, just tasted like infused flavoured water. I genuinely really wanted to like this cafe but for now, I’m gonna have to give it 3/5 for now. Although I would definitely be willing to give this place another go in the near future.
