An incredible space with incredible staff. The wide range of nonalcoholic wines, low lighting, music, dinosaur water jugs, furniture and details make for a very comfortable space to enjoy a moment. Whether it be for celebration or to reset after work. A special mention to the manager Paige - Paige has an in-depth knowledge of everything available, her aura is approachable and comforting. Paige listens and guides towards the perfect bottle for the perfect experience. A good team and experience really filters down from the top and genuinely donāt think a better pick could have been made. Thereās no ego or undermining even when I had no idea what I was talking about / looking for.
Wineism is the place to go for all the frills, comforts and experiences of luxury without the pretentious feelings of overwhelm and ānot belongingā that sometimes come along at other venues. At wineism Iāve always felt welcomed and valued.
I find myself daily recommending wineism in every day conversation and this review is long over due. Big congratulations to the owners, team and big big big...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally loved my visit to this place, what a hidden gem! I'm really loving the bar/bottle shop hybrid concept at the moment and I think these guys executed it so well. Lots of different discrete seating areas so you could have privacy if you wanted or sit amongst it all. Huge selection of stuff by the bottle and the by the glass was tight but very well curated. Snacks were great too. The staff are definitely casual (mostly in a good way) in the their approach and super friendly. The only bit of the experience that could be improved probably was on the first impression front, it did take a while to find a staff member at first and without the initial greeting upon entering it wasn't super obvious what the etiquette was (grab a seat, wait to be seated etc) but once they clocked me, the service for the rest of my time there was great even though i was hidden off...
Read moreOur first time here this afternoon...and I can honestly say that it's next level. The décor is beautiful and minimalistic. I would love to try sitting in the nooks and crannies. At first we were a bit taken aback, the owner doesn't appear to want to push wine or tapas on to you...so could appear a little aloof. But, I truly think this is their point of difference. We had the opportunity to sit back and enjoy a chardonnay each before ordering something small from the eats. And then enjoying an incredible Syrah and the most remarkable Grenache. This isn't your pushy 'I need to sell you something' wine bar... it is a 'if you like good wine I'm pretty sure you will find something fabulous' type of place.
Thank you Ian, it was our pleasure enjoying your little taste of heaven this afternoon. We will be back -...
