I placed an order for delivery through Uber Eats at 5:30pm. The estimated delivery time was between 6:15pm and 6:35pm. By 6:45pm, I still hadn’t received anything, so I called the store to check what was going on.
The person I spoke to claimed there was an issue with Uber and that my order was showing as Gluten Free pizzas (which I didn’t order). He said he tried to call me—but I had no missed calls. If they couldn’t get a hold of me, they could have still made and delivered what was on the order, or at least sent an update through the app.
Instead, they hadn’t made anything, and when I asked if we could just get the regular large pizzas, they said we’d be charged an extra $3 per pizza. After waiting over an hour with no food, no update, and no real solution, that was pretty frustrating.
Honestly, if a business sees a customer hasn’t received their food and can’t be reached, the decent thing to do would be to just make the order and send it out, especially if it was a platform error. Charging more instead of offering a goodwill fix? That’s poor...
Read moreI eat a large pizza once or twice a year, as a reminder of why I don't eat it often. I expect some discomfort and complete lack of bioavailable nutrients, and resulting zero satiation of hunger.
Standard pizza from this shop had a rubbery base, bland flavours and the same price as an actual large size gourmet pizza in Victoria.
I had bloating and discomfort far beyond usual, for 6 hours afterwards, constant gas for over 12 hours, couldn't sleep for most of the night, and had not one large bowel movement the next day, but 3 in the space of about 4 hours.
How this place is in business, I've no idea, aside from the usual 13 year old staff members doing 90% of the work.
The wait time was 30 mins compared with 15, or 20 mins max during peak hours anywhere else.
If you care about health while enjoying the odd takeaways when exhausted, you could find more satisfaction in giving cash to strangers and chewing on...

Short story - we ordered a pizza at 7:20pm. The wrong pizza was delivered at 8:40. My wife called the restaurant and spoke to a gentleman who refused to give his name. Refused to accept responsibility and his passive aggressive nature really surprised me. Simply we asked for our pizza and compensation (ideally a refund as any normal business would offer considering their error) after a 15 minute discussion back and forth the call was terminated and our order canceled.
I rarely give feedback. But please be aware if you’re hungry and after a pizza. Avoid this place....
