Capacillios Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I work at the woolies next door and had been walking past this café for months before I finally decided to eat here. The first meal I ordered was the chicken parmigiana and it was absolutely delightful, the freshly chopped tomatoes really made a difference. I’ve also ordered the eggs benny, which unlike a lot of cafés i’ve been to, was actually very nice in its presentation and its flavour. My favourite to order however, would be the green tea lattes, hot, cold, frappe, they’re all wonderful. Today, on my birthday I ordered the smoked salmon salad and it was great, especially the capers however, it was so salty that I struggled to finish it. Lucky I ordered the peppermint tea to wash it down. Other than that everything I’ve ordered here has been consistently tasty. The service is always fantastic here as well. I’m slowly starting to get to know the workers who all seem like beautiful people. My last worry is that the preparation time for food is quite lengthy however, having worked at a café for my previous job I can fully understand why. Located in the newly constructed retail precinct in Wynnum Central, Capacillios is perfectly situated in the centre with Woolworths on one side, public transport on its door step and the new Wynnum Central Library above it. With plenty of parking outside and in the undercover area downstairs, parking is an absolute breeze. The cafe makes a nice pitstop between stops at the library or doing the groceries. There is an extensive range of drinks and a wide array of coffee to choose from. The menu is typical of cafes, from sandwiches, burgers and chips, to pancakes and egg benedict. All the crowd favourites and plenty of easy choices to select from. The cafe caters to children and the menu reflects it too. There are a lot of different specials available on the chalkboard and even free Babycinos with a purchase. The interior is thoughtfully decorated and pleasantly cool. Capacillios Cafe is a modern cafe that continues to blow my mind with the its scrumptious dishes. The workers are kind and nice and have really good serve. The variety of dishes to choose was splenedid. It took me a while to choose since everything looked and sounded so delicious. In the end I choose the chicken parmesan, and it was so delicious. It was a large portion for $17 which was shocking due to the size of it in person as well as the sides ( salad + chips ) were large and were delicious. The chips were so long and crispy not as seasoned but still amazing was so fulling and I wanted more. The size of the chips were as long as the actual knife. The chicken Parisian was crispy tender,juicy and extremely flavourful I def recommend this dish if you’re going here. In addition the scenery was so pretty and the lighting was on point like it was so amazing. The only promblems with this cafe it took extremely long which was shocking due to it nearly taking 20-30 mins or even more I’m not extacly sure but other than that it was amazing.10/10...
