Standard "Aussie-Chinese" fare from this place. Owner is Chinese yet has been in the country for decades so is well and truly assimilated (and has a good sense of humour as well!). Well known for the smorgasbord which is a bargain at $14 for adults, which includes coffee and dessert. Limited range but what is on offer covers most of the popular choices. There is also a large menu of other Chinese and Australian dishes that can be ordered both for dine-in and takeaway, and is popular with the other blokes at my work (I work across the road)
Only downside many patrons view is the place is badly in need of a renovation, and the food isn't as exotic as its competition up the road - but it's much cheaper. Service is fast...
Read moreFood is great. We went there last Friday and the staff were great and the 2 girls that served us were amazing. Unfortunately, 2 girls which I perceive were on another shift decided to abuse the other 2 girls. When we offered to clean up our daughters mess they yelled "that's our job they should be doing it". It's highly disrespectful and unnecessary. I will also be putting in a formal complaint next time I go there. Because if those 2 girls are allowed to get away with yelling and disrespecting fellow colleagues. I will simply go elsewhere...
Read morePrices are reasonable. But I wont be going back to soon. The food wasnt good at all its like they just mass produce it. I had sweet n sour fish,most sweet n sour dishes are a redish,orange colour this was brown :( The special fried rice they just cut hunks of the special meat and placed it on the top of the rice they were dry and tastless. And the chow mein well thats for lunch today and im not looking forward to it..lol I hope there food improves but at this stage...
