If you’re around the Claremont area, you absolutely have to check out Grill'd on St Quentin Ave. It’s super close to Curtin University, so it's perfect for us busy students wanting a tasty break between classes or after hitting the books!
First off, the location is pretty amazing. Grill'd is smack-dab near major shopping spots, so whether you're grabbing a bite before some retail therapy or just hanging out with friends, this place is super convenient.
They offer four types of buns, traditional, paninity,?glutten free, and low carbs buns, all of them soft and fresh. Personally, I love the variety because who doesn’t like options, right? And the patty, oh wow, is it good. It's packed with flavor and well-cooked, making each bite a real treat.
The condiments at Grill'd deserve a standing ovation. You've got your bun, patty, sauce, and pickles all working together in perfect harmony. Imagine a medley of salty, sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy flavors having a party in your mouth. That’s exactly what you get here! The sauce adds a creamy tanginess that perfectly complements the juicy patty and the crunch from the pickles adds that extra zing. It's a taste explosion!
The presentation is top-notch too! Unlike some places where the food tastes good but looks “meh,” Grill'd nails it on both fronts. Your burger comes out looking like something straight out of a foodie Instagram account. It's almost too pretty to eat... almost.
Claremont isn’t just about great food; it’s about the whole experience. From the cozy ambiance and friendly staff to the delicious burgers and convenient location, it hits all the right spots. So next time you're near Claremont or just craving a killer burger, head...
Read moreFantastic! Their GameChanger Summer Sunset Burger was amazing! Got to be honest I didn't have huge expectations considering another Grill'd branch I have tried was substandard, but the burger at Grill'd Claremont delivered way more than I bargained for! All the ingredients were so fresh and the meat itself was perfectly cooked, juicy and meaty (duh!). For $17.50 this is way better than the burger you'll find at your local pub which usually goes for $22-28 so this is an absolute steal! Do note however that you have to pay for fries separately, but this would still work out to be cheaper than at the pub. In the case of fries I ordered the Chips Share Plate (to share - I have a big appetite but not that big!) and loved the variety of different chip options - original, zucchini, sweet potato. They all had great flavour, however the zucchini fries were a little dry and the sweet potato fries a little bit soggy. However, if you can get over those discrepancies the flavour still stands up. So, all in all a very surprisingly positive experience :) Good on ya...
Read moreFood: The burgers here are touted as being healthy. I'm not entirely convinced, but they do taste nice. The choice of traditional or ... whatever that white bun is, (panini?) is nice (traditional is good) and the flavour combinations of the menu work well. Wild Wild West is a favourite choice, but their lamb burgers are also quite tasty. I find the steak in the steak burgers sometimes a bit sinewy, a bit chewy, so I don't really order them anymore. 13/20
Service: Staff are friendly. Unfortunately, occasionally the wait is a bit long, due to being busy. Not really much to say about the service of a burger joint. 12/20
Ambience: Haha. It's dressed up nicely enough, it's clean, it's in a nice shopping centre. Don't need to ask for more. 13/20
Overall: I do keep coming back. Are they the nicest burgers in Perth? No. Are they a nice tasty treat while being a bit less unhealthy for you than some of the...
