The Momo's & More Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Claremont

I went there for dinner last night with my friend from Sydney. We had very high expectations of the food seeing their reviews from Perth’s Wellknown Nepalese community people. Also, I had been viewing their TikTok and seeing all those videos I was really impressed to try their food. But it was a total waste of time and money. I would say it was a disaster. The kitchen doesn’t communicate with the front staffs. When the girl from the counter came to take the order, she had to rush to the kitchen 3 times just to ask if the food was available or not. Most of the things were unavailable at the dinner service. And compromising the situation we ordered for the available items but when the food arrived at the table, they were the worst Nepali food we ever had. Overcharged and not up to the standard. When ordering we had clearly said to make the Chowmin and Jhol Momo spicy. But Chowmin was full of sweet soy, very sweet in taste and on top of that filled with deep fried chicken pieces in it. Momo was so tasteless with only the extra flavour of Timmur in it, no salt no any flavour of mince, no juiciness. Nothing had the proper taste. Even the Nepali Masala tea was cold and flavourless. The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do. The menu had a great variety, with something for everyone, and each bite was better than the last.

What really made our night, though, was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great experience. We were a big group and felt like we were at home with the warm service from every single staff and the taste of every dish !
