Turkish Delight — Restaurant in Devonport

Late Saturday night search for food, and was passing Turkish Delight on the way to the nearest pizza shop. Changed our minds and bought kebabs from here instead when we saw they were open and could smell the food from across the street. Fantastic food and service! Nicely proportioned, fresh, tasty, just the right amount of sauce to enhance the flavour and not swamp the kebab or your lap. Definitely somewhere to eat at next time I’m visiting the area. Update. If I could give you a big fat nothing that would still surely be to much. Talk about slave labour to young teens and taking advantage of the young kids he hires. They promise the naive that they are good blokes but I know different my son should have let me go in their and ask where all his hard earned cash is because long nights on his flat rate 10 dollars under the table an hour for 8 to 12 hours over night shift no shift allowance no award wages no tax and when he uses the kids up they stand over them hit them and no ones doing anything about them. Don't let your teenagers work there they don't have any morals when it comes to fair work place ethics and tax evasion .how many other kids just starting to try and work have been sorted by this father son team. Another enjoyable meal at Turkish Delight today. Once again we were more than impressed with the quality of the food. Liza is an excellent host and made us feel like old regulars! The cups of hot black tea that come free of charge, are delicious even though I normally take milk in my tea. Today we shared three different pides - vegetarian, spiced potato and the chicken and garlic, all fantastic, and my personal favourite was the vegetarian - spinach, mushroom, garlic and capsicum! I love the rich colours of the seating and never feel rushed after our meal.
