Came here with a small group of people and we sat inside. We got there around 10.50am to have a quick breakfast. My partner and I ordered and paid for our food and drinks separately from the group, second order in the group. We ordered 1 eggs benedict with avocado, 1 french toast, 1 green mood juice and 1 berry mix smoothie. It cost us $60.50. For just two small meals and drinks, I personally find that overpriced. The drinks came out on time and the green juice was good. The berry mix smoothie was okay. Then we waited until 11.30 just for the two meals. By this time, everyone else in the cafe had their meals and the rest of the group had their meals and drinks. We finally received our meals by 11.30am. The food was good but it took so long. Also, overpriced. No one was apologetic or cared that our food was taking long. Plus, they didn’t even greet us when we walked in and they didn’t say anything when we left. They weren’t doing anything at the time so they could’ve at least said “Bye”. Definitely won’t be coming back as the service wasn’t great and everything...
Read moreThis little Cafe surprised me! It didn't look like much from the outside, but had to give it a try based on other positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Unexpectedly cozy inside and a nice relaxed vibe. My partner ordered the Eggs Benny x2 because the menu specifically said it was small (it's was appropriately priced for a small serve, so a double worked out for a large breaky). I had the Classic Avo, added bacon and a hashbrown. All the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, no runny whites, but still runny yolk. The Bacon was maple flavoured, thin and crispy strips. The hollandaise on the Benny was fresh with a nice hint of citrus. Onto the coffee (as a Melbournian I am always super judgy) and it was perfection. I doubled down with a fresh OJ, tasty and a good size glass as well. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely...
Read moreWent around 12noon on Sunday. Unlike other places on Lonsdale St at that time, the place was virtually empty, which should have been a warning sign. I had the avocado on toast which unfortunately was not well made. The toast was very soggy (it may have only been toasted on one side), and some of the avo scraped on the toast was going a bit brown. The two cherry tomatoes were hard, unripe and actually quite difficult to cut into. The leaves (although there wasn't much of them) and eggs were just about OK. The feta was quite good. Service was OK although oddly they didn't greet me or welcome me when...
