It was a chance meeting whilst I was with my accountant in October 2001, 23 years ago, that I first came into contact with a financial advisor from Much More than Money or Godfrey Pembroke as it was then known. On my accountant’s recommendation, I then entrusted my financial affairs and retirement planning to them. Until then I had been managing my own retirement, not very well I might add, making poor decisions and less than average returns. My then financial planner consolidated my investments into one portfolio, and I haven’t looked back since. Upon his retirement I was then allocated my current financial advisor, David Rule, who, with his team, has again continued to effectively manage my financial and retirement planning, providing me with a seamless transition, adjusting and maintaining my portfolio to ensure it is reflective of my lifestyle and family objectives. The advice ranges from cash management, investment options to maximise my returns, estate planning and navigating through the various family needs and priorities that inevitably arise from time to time. On this last matter the name change to Much More than Money is a true reflection of the values my advisor and his team adopt when managing my financial affairs and the importance they place on ensuring that you are personally their priority. My husband and I were tracking along nicely with our future financial planning through Much More than Money. They helped us organise our finances, wills and tax returns. Thank you Arran Curll and Nourah Zezulka.

Unfortunately disaster struck by way of a car accident leaving my husband incapable of managing his affairs. Much guided and assisted me with the multitude of forms and paperwork throughout this incredibly difficult time. Firstly, in my role of Enduring Power Of Attorney, during 14 months of attempted rehabilitation. After my husband's passing, Much helped me in my role as executor of his estate, taking care of the estate tax returns, and superannuation processes.

Once estate matters were sorted, I was displaced and needed to purchase my own residence. Much were amazing, saving me the angst of completing paperwork for superannuation refunds etc in order to make funds accessible for when I located a suitable property.

I am now settled in my own place and extremely grateful for the professionalism, support and kindness I received from Much. I honestly do not know how I would have managed without you.
