This is my go-to place in the late afternoon as they are open until 5 (everything else around closes at 3 or earlier). The staff are always lovely and the coffee is pretty good.
They have a great selection of baked goods, mostly not what I’m after but they do a good trade so I’m sure everything is fresh. They have some crazy rich filled croissants if that’s your thing.
They do also do a nice selection of sweet breads with interesting flavours like orange and cardamom (that one is really nice, get in early in the day when they’re nice and fresh).

Tried the butter chicken pie from Wildflour Kingston, and it was a solid offering. The filling was very tasty, with a good butter chicken flavour and plenty of meat, making for a satisfying bite.
The pastry, however, was a little on the soft side, meaning it lacked the structural integrity needed for true one-handed pie enjoyment. Definitely a sit-down-and-use-two-hands kind of deal.
Despite that, the flavours carried the experience, and overall, it’s a strong entry into the butter chicken pie category.
