I went here today with my partner and it was honestly a terrible experience. Firstly we walk in, and the lady behind the counter looks up with the angriest look on her face, like being her customer made her angry. She then bluntly asked “what do you want” no hi how are you or any basic customer service. Mid serving is a delivery driver came in and she cut us off to ask (yell at) him what is he waiting for, she then asked if my partner wanted roast pork when he literally said he wanted char sui twice- her service was rude and just disappointing.
We waited a super long time for our food despite being the only customer in the shop at the time (the delivery driver had already left) and to top this off- someone she clearly knew came in probably 8 minutes after we ordered - we knew this as they were talking the whole time. And he received his food before us because it was a “special order”

Read moreThe worst Bahn Mi I have ever had. I thought I ordered a vegetarian tofu roll with chilli but I must have ordered the triple shredded carrot roll with an almost imperceptible amount of chilli, three pieces of small tofu and two small droplets of sauce. The flavour was non-existent and the bread tasted like they bought hot dog buns from the Supabarn next door, soft and doughy without a hint of proper Vietnamese roll crunch. Looking at other reviews it seems this is now the common practice. Your best bet is to try Little Phat rolls in Braddon or even any Roll’d will do a far...
Read moreA restaurant is only as good as the last dish it serves up, which explains why some people like Noi Noi and some don’t. They can’t keep operating, based on only one or two dishes being tasty and popular. They must get their act together and identify their weak spots, or they’ll struggle to make a buck. If they can’t even get their Bahn Mi right, what hope ? The Vietnamese are a beautiful people, but they’re so pharquing stingy with their dough (both kinds)! Nobody can remain in business, having a stingy mindset. The customers suffer, and vote...
