Had breakfast after dropping off doggies at the vet. The waiter guy was so nice to talk with. Nice and friendly and very kind to talk, I could see he is enjoying and loves his job. His service is just like 5 star hotel, so simply 5 stars for him! If people who works in the restaurant and they are nice, it will bring the store atmosphere better sometime the taste of food will be better, too! The food selection is good, normal full break fast and nice Thai milk tea I had, nice sun light and little bit chilly weather but such a nice lovely breakfast time in there. It was great collaboration of nice service and good food. I will come back again, thank you :)

Tucked under an ACT government building on the edge of gunghalin is this little gem. It was very busy on the Saturday we visited but the staff were not fazed and were so friendly and helpful. The coffee was large, the tea fantastic. Eggs Benny with bacon on brioche was cooked perfectly so filling and delicious. But the highlight was the zucchini fritters with poached eggs. Fritters were crunchy and full of flavour the combo of the dish made it magical. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating well worth a visit.

The iced long black was decent and nothing to blame about. I have ordered the chicken bosciolla. The flavour was rich and tasty, the plating was nice, the chicken was tender. The only sorrow was that the chicken was a bit salty so I could not finish it all 😭. In terms of service and environment. The service was helpful and friendly, the lady kindly explained the items on the menu for me. The environment was cozy enough despite the furniture seemed a bit old.

the usual is such an amazing environment to be around, and i will continue to return as long as i remain in canberra. me and my father go every saturday after my netball games, and every time it is the highlight of my week. all of their staff are extremely kind, however one staff member in particular sticks out to me. our first time going (which coincidentally was his first day) around this time last year, he was extremely kind, and from then on not only has he recognised us every time but has checked in on us we he notices we only order 1 meal (i was full that day) but he constantly makes conversation and engages with us. the moment i walk through the door he will wave and i continue to return not only for the food but to see and talk to him. a member of staff who i presume to be a manager is also extremely kind and welcoming towards us, and often engages in conversation with me and/or my father. overall, the food, service and ESPECIALLY the staff are all worth...

Wow! The Usual is an incredible and welcoming cafe. The staff are absolutely beautiful and treat their customers and their furry friends like family! Thank you for Lucy's pawsome puppucino+bacon+pats🐶We love the extensive drinks menu including the BEST specialty lattes in Canberra and surrounds.The food is presented so beautifully and its soooo tasty. Caters for vegetarians as well and service is very efficient.The well appointed patio dining area is great for all types of weather and ideal for your fur-babies with plenty of indoor seating aswell.Its location is on point with The Marketplace across the street and lots of parking. That Miso Hollandaise is the best thing since sliced bread! Best Hollandaise ive ever had, perfect balanced silky flavour and texture. Get the Miso Benny you won't be disappointed! Excellent coffee, shakes and wonderful customer service. I've ordered via uber and dined in and both experiences have been great. If issues arise they are prompt to resolve it and give above and beyond. Love the super interesting drinks they do on their menu, such as Ted in Bed. How innovative. The only reason I dont tend to dine in is the uncomfortable metal chairs. I prefer more support for my back as I like to savour my food and relax for a good hour or so. But the atmosphere otherwise is great and friendly.
