Zhangliang Malatang — Restaurant in District of Gungahlin

I came here with my boyfriend to have a meal. But the service here is absolutely terrible. I’ve been here countless times, and every single time, without fail, the service is awful. The bowls for dipping sauce are always out or dirty, and they don’t bother bringing out new ones or washing them. Today, it wasn’t even busy enough to justify such horrendous service.

The sliced beef ran out, and I requested it, but I had to wait for 10 minutes. It was only when my boyfriend went to pay and mentioned that I was still waiting for the beef that they finally decided to bring it out. By the time we paid, other tables that came after us had already finished their meals.

I came here with my boyfriend, but only he got to eat. I waited over 30 minutes, and the only thing I had for this miserable meal was a can of drink that I bought myself.

If anyone is considering coming here for the service, think twice...

The food was good. I would say the taste similar to most of similar restaurant, although this place offers more varieties with type of soups which makes it different to others.

But what I would like to compliment during my dining experience on Sat, 1st July was the customer service because it was outstanding. This young girl named Raine was all over the place when we came. It was really busy and she was pretty much alone there under pressure like a one man show but she DID it so well, still served with her 5 stars service although very busy. She still smiled and helped with patience which is hard to find staff like this in the busy retail shop these days. Keep it up, the service does make it difference and the game changer in any retail...

I’ve visited there many times and was one of my go to place. But no longer recommend as 1: it is really unhygienic at the moment, I’ve seen flies landing on the utensils many times and on the bowl they put out. 2: the water cup, EVERYTIME I used it i use a tissue to wipe it and there’d be stain and dirt on the tissue.. so i stopped using their water cup. 3: the stuff grab the utensils with bare hands that is not clean and throws it into the basket and mixes them. 4: I got really bad stomach ache after eating. 5: Their stem lettuce was pale white rather than usual green and hard, when I ate it, it tasted...
