Who wouldn't love a fun play on David Bowie's song? Everything on the menu here sings with vibrance, depth, and care, from the classic pho that warms the cockles of your heart to an assortment of vermicelli salad that refreshes a hot summer's day, from their consistently great coffee to a delightful surprise that is their sweet and chewy rhubarb porridge.

This small cafe has made me fall in love with Vietnamese food. Their pho has always been an impeccably well-balanced symphony of sweet, tangy, spicy, savoury, fragrant, herbaceous flavours. Their Bánh mì is heavenly to all the senses - thin crispy crunchy crust contrasted with the soft airy texture inside the baguette, tender protein and pickled veggies bringing out the best of each other. I just can't get enough.

I hope someday they will introduce some more Vietnamese classics such as egg coffee...

This place has a lot of potential, but they are very slow when you need a coffee to go.

I spent 10 minutes waiting for 1 coffee, watching the person making the coffee literally take points of a gram of coffee out of the shot, to collect... That's absolutely disgusting practice.

The time it's taking to take .2-3gms of ground coffee out of the shot, you could just serve more customers to make up for those precious, precious grams with higher turnover?

It took longer to get my coffee than it did to drink it, and I certainly won't support a business so stingy they're taking points of a gram of ground coffee out of the shot. |

Also, my large latte was nowhere near the top of the cup.

I thought I didn't like bahn mi until I tried one from here. They are delicious, and has been the best one I have had in Canberra so far. They're so good that there was one day I came here twice to get a bahn mi. This place is very much deserving of its high ratings. Albeit, the place is small, it is nice and cozy - the cafe was also clean overall. The staff are nice but the coffee tasted a bit funny, kind of like cardboard and it was weak, not the typical taste you would get from ONA coffee. Though I wouldn't let this one experience with coffee deter me from recommending this place to others. You need to absolutely try...
