Duatti — Restaurant in District of Woden Valley

One of my favourite coffee places in canberra. I originally reviewed this 5 stars three years ago but wanted to write a more detailed review. Firstly the coffee is consistently great! We get coffee from here almost every day and we are never disappointed. They use campos which in my opinion is the best coffee. You can buy campos pods and beans from this cafe as well. The service is always fast and friendly. The staff know our orders and are always very efficient, even in peak times. The food is great. I love the house made carrot cake. This morning @8am I ordered almond flat-white take away coffee from one of the Duatti male staff as I was the second customer after they opened cafe however that male staff was in rush or did not listen to me carefully .When my coffee was ready he said that I ordered cappuccino with normal milk but I never drink coffee with normal milk as I m allergic with normal milk.I said him that I ordered almond flat white he still denied and asked to to add extra 50 cent to get almond flat white coffee.So unprofessional staff and ruin my morning. Make sure you guys asked receipt with right food you ordered or not.Poor service and do not deserve any rating from my side.I was not there to joke for coffee...

I was excited to try the Shakshuka advertised in their new menu, and what a disappointment that turned out to be. It was just an abysmally thin layer of beef mince without any of the typical ingredients in a Shakshuka. Having had my fair share of great Shakshuka dishes around the world, I’m confident to say that the taste was more than weird. Tomato was barely noticeable at all. If I wanted flavourless beef mince with (raw, broken) poached eggs, I’d just stay home and cook it in 5 minutes by myself and do a better job.
