Cha Time consistently delivers a fantastic bubble tea experience, and this location is no exception. Whether you're a die-hard bubble tea fan or just someone looking to try something new, it’s a place that checks all the boxes for quality, service, and atmosphere. From my very first visit, it’s been clear that this spot prioritizes taste and customer satisfaction.
What really sets this location apart is the drink quality. Every cup is thoughtfully prepared, with perfectly brewed tea bases and toppings that taste fresh rather than mass-produced. My go-to order is the signature Thai milk tea with pearls and custard, and it never disappoints. The tea is rich and fragrant, and you can tell the pearls are always fresh. On a recent visit, I decided to branch out and try their new mango berry fruit tea—it was heavenly, with just the right amount of sweetness-- They do every type of drink well.
The staff here are another reason to keep coming back. They’re friendly, efficient, and seem genuinely passionate about what they do. Even during the busiest times, the team handles orders quickly without sacrificing quality. Sometimes young workers maintain the store alone, and despite the busy rushes, they are able to complete orders quickly and efficiently. I also appreciate how they’re always willing to offer recommendations or adjust drinks based on your taste preferences. It’s that personal touch that makes you feel like more than just another customer.
In a market that’s full of bubble tea options, Cha Time continues to set the standard. It’s the kind of place where you know your drink will always hit the mark, and the service will leave you smiling. If you haven’t stopped by yet, you’re missing out on one of the best bubble tea...
Read moreThe review below comes from Rico La Cock, a former staff member who was terminated seven months ago due to repeated misconduct, including making horrible drinks which had negative feedbacks from customers, giving free drinks to friends, failing to wear a uniform, closing the shop early, and even stealing drinks. Since his dismissal, he has occasionally returned to the store and continued attempting to steal.
Just a week ago, I personally caught him again so before his review, on Canberra Day, he saw me and deliberately came in to cause trouble. He purchased a drink that included the standard 10% public holiday surcharge, then accused me of overcharging—yet he still paid for it. If he truly believed the price was unfair, why go through with the purchase?
He then demanded a centre discount but failed to provide any proof of eligibility—no uniform, name badge, payslip, or access to any roster app. Although he claimed the drink was terrible, he finished it completely, without leaving a single drop (as seen in the photo). He also made unfounded accusations about us using expired ingredients and even told others to avoid the shop. Yet, despite all that, he keeps coming back—either to buy or attempt to steal drinks.
That speaks...
Read moreI grew up drinking bubble tea, so it's practically apart of my childhood. I ordered a regular Oolong Milk Tea with pearls, standard everything and used my free points on the drink.
To only be given a bland or more like tasteless watery drink, with properly cooked pearls that doesn't have enough sugar coating. I asked if I could have my drink remake, the lady didn't remake my drink, instead she told me it was made that way. I asked maybe there's something wrong with the Oolong, she told me it's been prepared correctly.
So, it's either they're fine with giving bland Oolong Milk tea drinks, or she didn't made it properly?
It's obviously the latter option, I hope you don't give me a generic answer, instead I would rather the staffs to be retrained in certain areas to cater better customers service and...
