I had the pleasure of dining at this Vietnamese fusion semi fine dining restaurant, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish.
The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and warm hospitality. The décor is chic yet welcoming, making it ideal for both special occasions and relaxed evenings out.
The menu is creative and beautifully curated — showcasing authentic Vietnamese flavors with a contemporary twist. Each dish felt thoughtfully designed, with a harmonious balance of textures and flavors. The presentation was artistic, almost too beautiful to eat, but every bite was even more impressive than it looked.
The highlights for me were the fresh seafood dishes and the modern take on classic Vietnamese staples. Every plate had layers of flavor — fragrant herbs, delicate spices, and just the right amount of fusion flair without ever losing the soul of Vietnamese cuisine.
Service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, and their passion for the food really came through.

Read moreWe had dinner at The Q in Phillip last Saturday night with close friends and family, and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while.
We started with the Scallops Royale, Wagyu Beef “la Lot”, and Banh Xeo Tacos — all amazing, but the scallops stole the show with a perfect mix of flavour and texture, possibly sitting on a base of sticky rice and omelette that just worked so well. The banh xeo tacos were another highlight — fresh, crispy, and full of flavour.
For mains, we tried a bit of everything — Q’s Wagyu Beef Pho, Chicken Ragout, Saigon Roasted Chicken, Five-Spice Crispy Pork Belly Platter, Char-Grilled Wagyu Steak with Chimichurri, and Lemongrass Chilli Baked Snapper. Every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly portioned, and absolutely delicious.
We finished with the Caramel Coffee Flan and Tao Pho (Sweet Silken Bean Curd) — both light, smooth, and a great way to end the meal.
The space is modern and cosy, and the staff were fantastic, always attentive, topping up drinks and clearing plates with a smile. Everything felt seamless from start to finish.
