Ambience: 2.5/5 - so pokey and cramped, had to stand and wait to find a seat, the design of the seating is not efficient or practical. The place is INFESTED with flies (and fruit flies) which are buzzing around landing on your food whilst you’re trying to eat. Also, incredibly loud and impersonal environment. Couldn’t hear my boyfriend the entire time and was seated so close to a loud woman having to listen to her talk about her menstrual cycle to her friend. Food: 1/5 - had the salmon daze, definitely not worth the money, just a plate decorated with rocket lettuce leaves, dollops of hollandaise, 1 tiny over cooked poached egg and pathetically small salmon pieces scattered throughout the lettuce.. very disappointing and to add insult there was a thick black hair through the middle of my dish. Not many gluten free options for coeliacs out there either (only one dish mentioned above). Service: 1/5 - order at counter and take a number only for them to mess up our order, take 20 minutes for food and then our drinks never came. Waiter came to clear our plates and take our number and we informed our drinks never arrived, he said he’d take care of it and 5 minutes later a waitress comes with the wrong drink order (totally wrong, not just minor mistake), finally after waiting 45 minutes our original drink order arrives and surprise surprise,...

As a holiday stop for fresh coffee, no greeting on entry or a simply sign to indicate 'order here' while waiting for ordering a couple of coffees. Once she was ready to serve, the young girl didn't apologize for the wait but simply wanted to take the order quickly. I appreciate it was a busy time of day and I'm very understanding however as a potential customer new to the café, the first impressions were very poor. After waiting 10 minutes, the coffees served in our takeaway cups were too hot to carry so I kindly asked for another cup for each to carry outside. It seemed such a bother and the second cup was simply tossed on the countertop. The other male staff member apologized and kindly helped cover over the laziness of the other blonde server. Simple, great customer service goes such a long way but was massively overlooked by the female staff. Coffee was unfortunately burnt as a long black goes. Will never come for a stop here...

I was here for work deploying service robot for a nearby restaurant and found this beautiful cafe that has high ratings review. So I decided to give it a try.

Environment 5/5 I like this place, close to the beach, not many cars around and they have indoor and outdoor seatings. I have chosen indoor because it is a little bit too hot for me.

Service 5/5 Staff is friendly and helpful.

Ice long black 5/5 With such weather, I can’t go with my hot coffee, so I tried their ice long black, yum! The strength is just nice and it’s not sour, perfecto!

Eggs Benedict with slow cooked beef 5/5 This is truly amazing, one of the best Benedict I ever had and the slow cook is perfect texture and taste. Juicy, flavourful, tender, it’s just too amazing!
