Not to be confused in location with its sister shack(same name) by the foreshore nearby.

The Jaffle Shack - Marine Terrace is a beautiful little cafe with an organic nature inspired aesthetic. While joined to, and essentially the same business as, the Cafe fleur, the difference in style and direction only add flavor to visual experience. This is as much flavor as can be expected from most coffee shops but, if you are a true lover of coffee, you'll be delighted to know that Karvan Coffee doesn't disappoint the palette.

Don't be surprised by the moderate price point. The quality of the food is excellent, and the time it takes to make only provides credence that it is made fresh and with love. I sampled the Mediterranean, which definitely touched my taste buds in the right way, but my recommendation is to vent your cravings and get staff recommendations. You'll find them to be friendly, pleasant to talk to, and informed.

Food was quite nice if a little overpriced, but the service was horrific. As others have mentioned, the wait times are quite long even when empty. As soon as we queried about the remaining meals (which it turns out had been forgotten) the girl behind the counter was literally hostile and aggressive. She was so quick to anger it was genuinely startling! She went out the back and started swearing and throwing things around. An older lady who we're assuming was a manager came out and peeked at us around the corner from the kitchen. Incredibly childish. By the time the two forgotten meals came out the rest of our party had long finished and we were over the whole experience. The Jaffle shack in Geraldton has a great atmosphere and a concept that Australians are sure to get around, I will be back with my own salt shaker next time, despite the fact that the filling of the jaffle are all gourmet, looking fabulous in the toasted sandwich cross section, it was crying out for seasoning, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed that such a beautiful Australian sandwich was ruined by a little salt, I give these jaffles a 5 out of 10 jaffle triangles, keep in mind these jaffles would of been almost perfect with a little bit of salt added into each filling...
