Delivery not as ordered and terrible food.

We visited Gerringong recently for a long weekend and decided to try Werri Thai for takeaway dinner on a Sunday night as we’d seen good reviews. The only positive thing about the experience was the prompt delivery, however we wish our meals hadn’t been delivered at all. We ordered 6 different meals to share and only half the meals delivered were what we ordered over the phone. We ordered 3 different duck meals, and only received 1 duck. 1 of the meals looked like leftovers minced into a ball and wrapped in aluminium foil. It smelled so bad that we couldn’t even eat it and the majority of the meals were left fairly uneaten.

Werri Thai was the worst Thai we’ve ever had. The food was terrible and made us all feel ill. The sauces in the curry’s were gluggy and almost looked like they curdled and the meat was either overcooked or really bad quality. We spent $120 on 6 meals which was a complete...

My partner & I were anticipating a top shelf local , succulent Thai meal & judging from the reviews it was going to be worth the 50 minute wait for take away on Saturday 17th of February around dinner time . The restaurant was buzzing with plenty activity, staff run off their feet with dining & take away /delivery orders . Very clean & well presented venue too. Upon receiving our order we walked 200 metres to our apartment and served our meals on plates . Sorry guys but a 3/5 from both of us . Serves were very generous & looked fantastic but lacked the spark I expect from a chilli basil prawn & rice dish . Mrs vegan noodle dish was plain & overcooked. Positive Highlights: Accepted an immediate booking for our large group. Convenient location in Gerringong, offering easy access.

Negative Points: Unfriendly and unprofessional service from both the waitress and waiter, with extremely slow service. Disappointingly sweet food with no distinct flavors, lacking uniqueness. Noticeable disparity between the actual food and its quality compared to the menu photos. Limited space, and a waiter, hindered by mobility issues, asked patrons to move.
