The Deli Cafe Gerringong is a bright and spacious spot that makes the most of its natural light, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. There’s plenty of room to settle in, and the open layout gives the place a refreshing, airy feel.

The menu offers a solid range of typical café favourites, with one standout: the burgers. The US-style cheeseburger in particular was a highlight—juicy, full of flavour, and perfectly balanced. It’s definitely worth coming in just for that.

Service was polite, prompt and efficient—staff were friendly without being overbearing, and everything arrived in good time.

The only letdown was the coffee. It came out looking pale and tasted quite weak, with milk that was a bit too hot. It felt a little rushed, which was a shame compared to the otherwise well-executed food and service.

My partner and I regularly come here to dine in for breakfast and usually have an amazing experience with great food and accomodating staff. However , we came here this morning and my partner asked if we could have chorizo crispy due to health reasons. We overheard the staff bad mouthing us and laughing together (not discreetly). My partner stepped outside for a breath of fresh air and they continued to talk about us and laugh at my partner. This was the chef and one of the girls behind the counter. Had lunch at the Gerringong Deli on 2/3/23. Three vegan sandwiches were great. Chicken burger quite ordinary. You can’t please everyone all the time and I was okay with that. However, the young girls behind the counter were very sullen and unfriendly. People have bad days and I get that too. The clincher for me was being overcharged. What the menu online suggests is not what is advertised on the chalkboard in the deli and different again to what I was told over the phone when I queried the charge.
