After researching around, we finally decided the Gourmet of China as our last dinner in GC and it didn’t disappoint us. We ordered the Original fish hotpot with 2 side dishes, it is very yum. We finished all fish fillets as well as half of the soup base. For 2 person, you can’t order too many dishes as the amount is very decent but you can ask one spicy dipping sauce to unlock a different taste of it (as the spicy flavour seems also nice). Thumbs up for both food and the excellent hospitality we have received.

Wonton soup was way too salty and oily. plum duck was the most yakky dish we have never ever see before: 2/3 of duck was skins dumped in a pool of weet and sour sauce. The only eatable dish was stir fried vegetables Shanghai Style. The lady at service was the only presentable value of this place. Price of these 3 dish lunch + a coke was 60.30AUD. Was not a good choice coming here.

Thanks Delong and team for an awesome Chinese Banquet……perfect place for our football team to gather on the first night in the Gold Coast. Food was fantastic, and plenty of it. Such a friendly and helpful crew that catered for our large group flawlessly. Can’t recommend this highly enough for a great tasting, great value Chinese.

Expensive, as expected for main beach. Biggest problem with the service is there is only one useful lass there, and she is Japanese. The other 2 are very nice and helpful, but have no idea what we asked and each time had to seek out the first girl. The stars go to her. ENTREES and MAINS arrived at the same time, now this is mentioned on the menu as a possible occurrence but there isn't even enough room on the little square tables. Nor were they busy in case the chef was trying to get the orders out. We will go back but 2 tips for y'all...The Japanese girl is excellent - go to her every time. ALSO order entrees, eat them, then order mains, if...

This food was amazing. We stayed in Main Beach for 4 nights and every time saw it was busy....Finally the final night we decided to give it a try. Really delicious food. Full of flavour. Amazing service. It was busy so had to wait for a little while but nothing worth even realising until the chef came out to us and apologised for the wait. We understood the venue was busy. To put a face to the food is really good and was nice to compliment the chef on how delicious everything was. Had to get a doggy bag because we just couldn't finish everything and didn't want to waste it. When we come back again from Sydney we will definately come back...

Personally, this was the best Chinese food - scratch that, the best meal i’ve ever had in my life. The only dish that brought this visit down ever so slightly was the special fried seafood, which was only slightly underwhelming in comparison to the regular special fried rice. The szechuan duck and brisket meals were actually to die for. I like to think I’ve eaten a lot of wonton soup, and it’s safe to say I’m a bit obsessed with it. This was the BEST i’ve ever had. The sweet and sour pork was insanely great and the special fried rice was awesome. Service was great as well. Super happy to have ended up...
