A small bakery with a big punch! Great food, highly experience and efficient staff, perfect for the cheeky little snack you need. So let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: * It’s a tight little shop and due to the popularity can get a little congested but I can only blame this on the popularity of its offer. The best thing is that they have a few out door tables for a quick little sit down to snack on your purchase and then move right along with your day. But mostly, you can tell that they like to keep this area as clean as possible for their patrons. Well done.

Customer Service: * On a Wednesday at approx. 10:30am, this place was on fire with an amazing array of customers. I was amazed at how well presented and efficient these staff were. All were welcoming and the experience in their handling of the large amounts of constant order was a wonder to behold. Excellent!

Food (why we are here): * Specialty Pie “Beef, Cheese and Chilli” I had to try this and was glad I did! Plus, the price was competitive. The pastry was beautifully light, crispy and moreish. The filling was excellent, it was a mince meat speciality and both the chilli, cheese and beef were in perfect compliment – one didn’t overpower the other. Lastly, the chilli was enough to give you a little tingle on the tongue so if you are worried it will be too spicy, don’t.

Overall: This is certainly the place to come to if you are feeling a little peckish and looking for a light snack at lunch to tide you over til dinner. If I lived up here, I would definitely make this my regular. Well done main...

Not sure what’s happened to Main beach bakery .. about a year ago it all changed.. previously I would always rave about the high quality of their pies , coffee pastries etc .. but alas.. it’s all gone horribly wrong.. today I had a stale rock hard croissant .. very milky coffee.. this on the back of my last few visits where the pies have become sub standard.. or on par with the rest substandard GC PIES.. I don’t necessarily like writing such feed back for small business owners but please sort it out otherwise you will go broke .. so for me it’s Back to the drawing board to find the best pies ..Pastries on the GC .. any...

First time in year's I went to Main Beach Bakery yesterday. Ordered and Chicken Toastie and a mini pie for my lunch. While I was patiently for my order a second staff member goes to the pie oven, remove's the last mini pie - that I had ordered - and proceeds to go out the back and ate it.. When I told my server she found the whole situation hilarious. While she did apologize and ask the other server the outright gleeful smirk on both their faces made it very clear that as a customer my order was secondary to their food needs.
