We tried this restaurant once, and contrary to the reviews written here, the experience was terrible. The waitress was extremely rude and disrespectful.
The restaurant was empty, yet she insisted on seating us right next to the handwashing area. When we objected, her behavior became even worse. From that moment on, she started throwing the items we asked for onto the table instead of placing them properly.
This level of rudeness was unacceptable, especially since the waitress was Iranian herself, which makes it even more disappointing.
As for the food, it was far from good. The rice was nearly undercooked, and the koobideh was so dry and hard that we couldn’t even eat it.
Don’t be fooled by the other reviews here, this place is terrible.
--As I can't reply to their comment Will send my answers here:
You cannot justify the rudeness of your waitress. In addition to providing poor service, you are also being dishonest. We did not behave disrespectfully toward her at any point.
It is evident that professionalism is not something your team understands. Responding to customer feedback and acknowledging your mistakes is a basic aspect of running a successful business, something you have clearly failed to grasp. Cooking food alone does not make a business successful.
Your attitude toward customer service is both unprofessional and discourteous.
You are in no position to comment on how I should approach situations in the future. Instead, you should focus on learning proper manners, customer service, and professionalism.
Rudeness and arrogance seem to be integral parts of your team, as both the waitress and customer service follow the same unprofessional approach. (Although, who knows—maybe the person writing this response is the same rude waitress!)it seems you don't have many personnel , one person cooks, serves, and answers the comments.
-part 3 of the answers as it seems you have a lot of free time : You are not in a position for me to waste more time responding to you. The purpose of writing this comment was to inform people about the poor quality of your food and the even worse attitude and behavior of your staff. Instead of spending time justifying your staff’s inappropriate behavior, it would have been better to focus on improving the quality of your food and teaching your employees manners and professionalism. If you had spent this time improving your cooking skills and learning proper methods for cooking rice and making kebabs that aren’t tough and rubbery, perhaps you wouldn’t receive so many complaints about the poor quality of your food. In any case, my message is for customers, so they know not to waste their money on your “Kebabi”. You cannot even cook a simple dish properly, yet it’s amusing how you try to deliver moral lessons to your customers in every...
Read moreMy experience at this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary! My friends and I stumbled upon this gem through Google due to its high ratings, and it exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish, every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. We started with the Trio of Entree, a delightful combination of flavours and textures that showcased the chef's creativity. The Mix Platter and Bamish Stew for our mains were not only generously portioned but also incredibly flavourful. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the dishes were prepared to perfection. The balance of spices in the Bamish Stew was particularly impressive, creating a symphony of tastes that danced on our taste buds. What truly stood out was the freshness of the salads that accompanied our meal. Crisp and vibrant, they were a refreshing complement to the hearty main courses. Despite the generous portions, we couldn't help but devour every last bite on our plates; the food was just that delicious! Aside from the delectable cuisine, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect setting for a memorable meal with friends. Read moreA Taste of Persia: Baba Joon
From the moment you step into Baba Joon Persian Food, you know you're in for something special. The aroma of saffron, sumac, and slow-cooked meats immediately transports you to a culinary journey through Persia, and let me tell you, this journey is delicious. Every dish I tried at Baba Joon was a testament to the rich, nuanced flavors of Persian cuisine. The kebabs, a cornerstone of any good Persian restaurant, were nothing short of perfection. Whether it was the tender, perfectly grilled Koobideh (ground meat kebab) or the succulent Barg (marinated lamb fillet), each bite was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to an exquisite tenderness. The accompanying saffron rice was light, fluffy, and infused with that unmistakable golden hue and delicate aroma. But Baba Joon's delights extend far beyond the grilled. The stews, or khoresht, were equally captivating. The Ghormeh Sabzi, a vibrant herb stew with tender chunks of lamb and kidney beans, was deep in flavor, with that characteristic slight tartness that makes it so addictive. The Fesenjan, a rich and complex walnut and pomegranate stew, was a revelation – sweet, savory, and incredibly satisfying. The appetizers, too, set the stage beautifully. The creamy Mast-o-Khiar (yogurt and cucumber dip) was refreshing, and the Kashk-e-Bademjan (eggplant dip with a crispy onion and mint topping) was a smoky, textural delight. And you absolutely cannot leave without trying their freshly baked bread – warm, soft, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of flavor. Beyond the exquisite food, the atmosphere at Baba Joon is warm and inviting, and the service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful...
