My wife and I were extremely unhappy to arrive at the store to find doors locked 15 mins before the posted close of business hours, with 2 employees inside, dismissing us.

One employee motioned that they were closed, and I pointed at the hours listed on the door. This was at 9:45pm, with the store hours listed as open until 10pm every night of the week. I pointed at the store hours sign and motioned that it says 'open til 10' and the girl stared at me and shrugged. The other employee came out from the back and I could see them discussing it amongst themselves, only to ignore me.

I know this is only ice cream, but this was a Friday night, and we drove out specifically to get some ice cream, and being well within the hours listed on the store to be ignored and dismissed by 2 employees is...

Gross! Overpriced and couldn’t eat it! We went there for a special treat, I got the jamoca almond fudge one scoop, the waffle cone had a weird smell and taste to it, and was mostly air filled as the ice cream just sat on the top, the ice cream flavours blurb mentioned coffee, I couldn’t taste it at all and the almonds were brittle and horrible- so many of them I was pulling them out and trying to eat the rest looking for a fudge hit which I never got! Wow I was like we could have got a tub of Ben and Jerry’s and some cones for less than our 1 scoop ice creams and been much more satisfied! We saw another group throw their unfinished ice creams in the bin whilst we were sitting out front too! For the price I would expect the ice cream to still be made fresh in store, or what are you paying premium price for? Someone to scoop you a minuscule amount of frozen ice cream that doesn’t even fill the...

I’m honestly shocked — just paid $23 for two kids’ ice creams, and to top it off, the customer service was incredibly rude. When I questioned the price, the girl struggled to explain the breakdown, and when I asked for a receipt, she handed me an EFTPOS slip that wasn’t itemised (and definitely not a proper receipt for tax purposes). Moments later, I overheard her complaining about me to her coworker — loud enough that it felt intentional. I don’t mind paying a bit more for quality, but this was overpriced, unprofessional, and unpleasant. I won’t be back — and I’d recommend others think twice before...
