Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Last time we’ll be ordering here :( 3rd strike tonight. Sucks when you save money to have a dinner night once every couple weeks with your family and end up wasting the money. Hard and dry chips third time in a row. Classic chicken tonight was drier than the sahara desert, one of our family couldn’t eat it so i took a bite to see how bad it was or if they were being fussy… it was bad. Insanely dry. Last time we had a bad experience i wrote an email thought to their feedback department, no response. Tried even calling a week or so later, no one is there to answer your calls at their public customer service phone number 😂 so i did try my best to leave this feedback before the google review, but here we are! Don’t know what in the AI is going on with the recent reviews but they feel very “hey chatgpt make me reviews that seem legit” because there’s no way our experience has been this isolated 3 times in a row. Super tasty and delicious burgers.. We had a great experience today and the service was excellent. The young lady at the entrance helped us by getting a high chair, brought water to our table and also collected our order and delivered it to our table. (Shout out to her - a friendly, happy staff member with glasses who was working at the front entrance). The burgers were fresh, the meat (I had the Betty's original) was juicy and the buns, oh so soft. After living many years London where you get easy access to some of the best burgers around, it's nice to be back on the Gold Coast and so close to such a fine burger establishment which could easily compete with those London chains. First timer. The place was busy, but the wait was ok. Food was good, tastes like real food (not processed). It was yum My only complaint was that someone came to us literally as I was putting the first thing in my mouth and asked how was the food? I told her this was my first mouthful and she responded by "omg! Stop! Thanks so much". Obviously miss-hearing me. Then a few minutes later came back, while I was 1/3 of the way through my burger, with a QR code asking me to write this review. I love a good review, but this chick has now interrupted my dinner twice before I was half way through. Terrible timing and respect for the customer. Less than impressed! I think this experience warrens a 3.5...
