We read the reviews so we thought we would give this Ramon noodleI try as we usually go to the Hakataya Ramen noodle house in surfers Paradise which I feel is excellent and generous amount of food with the extras thrown in for free plus free extra noodles We arrived and it’s a little bit like a Japanese subway choose type of noodles you want our firm Then how soft or firm do you like your noodle then you choose if you want extra heat or extra meat all add extra price then there is a selection of extras to put on your noodles at again extra price all very confusing When the meal arrived I was a bit setback as it was quite small compare to what we used to The noodles in broth was just OK The extra pork we ordered was very small for the four dollars extra per bowl we payed I finish my noodles and still had soup left so I asked the girl if it was possible to get more noodles as We were still very hungry as is the case of the Hakataya Ramen noodle place in surfers Paradise and elsewhere for no extra charge She told us this was not possible that we would have to buy another meal no apology no concern basically take it or leave it so we left and rounded out very unsatisfactory meal there by going to the sushi train A few doors up not great but So we didn’t go home hungry it cost us $43 for two bowls of ordinary soup with some fatty tasteless pork on top we have some gluey paste on top that we paid an extra dollar for For the people who think it’s good I think you should try a few different noodle places I first started eating this dish in Tokyo in 1979 and it tasted nothing like this slop that...

One year later 🤗 I’m looking for a nice Shoyu ramen in GC😋 I had it and Takana donburi for lunch today 🥳 Ramen was gentle nice flavor😚 I mixed some yuzu paste later so I could had two types of soup 🥳🥳 I liked both🥰 Yuzu flavor was really nice with soy soup 😁 A little bit of disappointment for rice bowl 😅 Rice and toppings were unbalanced for me😓 Taste was ok but not much wowed 🙁 And the rice was a bit soft for me…. Super friendly waitress was welcoming me which made me smile which was good🥰 Air conditioning was working well 😁👍🏻

It’s been 2 years since I came here for lunch. Last time I was happy with their noodle 🥰 It’s muggy and hot outside yesterday 🥵 then Air conditions wasn’t working well in the restaurant 😓 It’s just for me??? I was a little bit uncomfortable already. I had Classic ramen with nitamago😣$17.5 and Danbo karaage strips $10.5. This time I wasn’t satisfied with ramen 😞 I normally order the same other Dando as well. My noodle was not standard firmness… Overall I didn’t get happiness from it😢 Danbo karaage was not my favorite ether 😭 They were soft but not that juicy and not much flavor….mmmm😔 just for me??? Came here on the 27th December 7pm ish - shocking the whole time.

Opened the door and wanted to get in for a table, staff walked out and guided other customers in while I was still holding the door for the whole time and did not notice your presence.

Ordered bowls of ramen, staff served the ramen by asking which one is yours without telling us what they are - Ramen looked almost identical and how did it possible for customers to tell the difference in noodle hardness and soup richness.

Walked up to the cashier, staff simply asked cash or card without any intonation or facial expression or in a nice way.

Not sure if anyone cares as we still see a lot of ppl stopping by but staff really putting us off from coming again. Owner should really consider using robots when they perform better than humans.

According to ACCC, a business can charge a surcharge for paying by card, but the surcharge must not be more than what it costs the business to use that payment type.
