I recently visited "The Henchmen" Café with my friends with small walking toddlers, hoping for a pleasant relaxed dining experience. However, I must say that our visit was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience.

To start with, we were initially drawn to the café by the presence of a gated area with toys, which led us to assume it was an enclosed space for children to play safely. Unfortunately, our kids kept escaping as a member of the staff repeatedly opened the gate. Concerned for their safety, we kindly asked the staff to keep the gate closed. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the presumed manager approached us and responded rudely, saying, "If you are looking for a playground, go find a playground“ This dismissive and impolite remark left a sour taste in our mouths and cut out visit short. As we were leaving, not a single staff member said farewell or thank you for coming, a basic courtesy in service.

Moreover, the quality of the food at "The Henchmen" Café was subpar. I ordered the Rooster sandwich, which took an astonishingly long time—over 45 minutes—to arrive at our table. Considering it was a simple dish, the excessive wait was entirely unjustified. When the sandwiches finally arrived, they were disappointing. The ingredients seemed lackluster, and the overall taste fell far below my expectations. It was evident that little care was put into the preparation of the meal.

Aside from the issues mentioned above, the overall atmosphere of the café was underwhelming. The service was slow. The lack of professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by the manager set a negative tone for the entire experience.

As a customer, I expect a certain level of service, especially when dining out at a place that has reviews for being "kid friendly". Unfortunately, "The Henchmen" Café failed to meet even the most basic standards. I would caution others to think twice before visiting this establishment, as there are undoubtedly better options available in the area.

I really enjoyed my experience here this morning. Great environment , spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and prompt. Ordering from a tablet makes your selection less stressed than having a busy waiter looming over you needing you to make a quick choice.

I could of taken a quarter of a star off ( not seriously) just for a few things. I was little distracted with the swings that were near our table. Kids were playing on them and while I endorse family/ pet friendly places 100%, I wondered about them falling or hitting someone. However if we had been seated elsewhere I would not of noticed.

My breakfast came (just alittle bit of a wait) and looked delish! I just felt it lacked (please get my context) a very very slight lack of pumpkin flavour, nothing that a squeeze of pepper didn't fix. Overall it was yummm and will definately have it again.

This place was busy and totally embracing and compliant with all the covid 19 restrictions. I felt for the people that they were turning away both from their disappointment, and the business loss for the Henchman owners.

I would not hesitate to say The Henchman is the best cafe/ restaurant in the area. A Fantastic experience to be had while venturing back into the pre-post covid world. What an amazing experience at this place! It begins as you drive towards the location and notice the decor and hanging lights hanging over the front outdoor section. Then you can hear the live music performance from a short distance. Then you're greeted by the most welcoming and friendly workers and servers and led to your table where you can order your food and drinks using the QR code (I love this system). There is a lot of different and comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. You are spoilt for choice!

There was non stop live music throughout our sitting. It was very incredible singing... very nice and chillaxed.

The food! Wow, the food here ! So delicious and flavourful and fresh! YUMM. The vegan cheesburger is truly THE BEST vegan cheesburger I have ever had. You have to try it !

I also had the pina colada cocktail which had an interesting and unique twist to your usual pina colada and I really loved it. The service is fast and accomodating and so welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond to make your experience here an amazing one!

I would highly recommend you give this place a visit for food, entertainment, chill vibes and ambience and amazing food. I will definitely be back here in the near future.
