Origin Kebabs Labrador Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Updated review 28.01.23 (9 months after my first review), decreased from 4 stars to 2: quality has deteriorated now, the kebabs are still alright but the snack packs are awful. Not enough chips and way too much salty lamb meat. And charging a $1 fee for each little add on like tabouli, onion, tomato and lettuce is criminal, especially since you dont even put a dollars worth of it. Also the portions got way smaller. The salad plate is disgusting, meat was overcooked and burnt black, salad portion was microscopic. Disappointed the last 3 times so we haven't gone back in months. Please improve.

Our go to kebab shop, we just moved to the area and we drive down to this one in Labrador even though there's one closer to us in our own suburb, but this place consistently makes a good kebab, good meat ratio, with hot sauce and garlic sauce. The hot chili actually has some heat which is great, we love spicy, staff are always friendly. But we will stick to the kebab wraps because the one time I ventured out and ordered a kebab plate it was awful, so never again... meat was all dry, there was barely any salad and just no. Yesterday 27/05/21 I went to origin kebab labrador. The staff took 7 minutes to take my order. There were no one in front of me. I ordered 1 small beef snackpack. I’ve requested to make my chips crispy. This is not the first time I’ve had kebab from here. Usually they ask to the customer if they want cheese or not. The girl served me didn’t ask me anything. I got my food in 3 minutes. I was very happy for their quick service. While I got my food I found they’ve put cheese inside and the chips are not crispy at all. When I took my food back to the counter, the girl served me started arguing with me. She was also showing her attitude to me. Then I’ve waited for 20 minutes to get my food. While I got my food chips were crispy but the beef kebab was cold. WHAT A DISGRACEFUL SERVICE I’ve experienced. You don’t deserve any stars guys for yesterday’s service. Just wasted my money. We had a dinner at Labrador origin kebab today 23/06/18.I paid cash for 2 mixed plates ,1 mixed kebab,1 chips 3 little drinks. They charge me $54 and they didn’t give me receipt. No sauce for the chips. Food was yuck. And service is very bad. Not providing good enough service. We wanted to have our meal there. They pack everything and we had them in the little plastic box. The guy who was provided food. He said I can arrange the plates. We didn’t see him until we finished our food. They kidding the customer. We can have best meal if paid that much for some where else. hygiene NOT at All. Hopefully not going have any food from Origin Kebab in Labrador again who ever going to have food, we not going to recommend...
