Papercup Coffee Labrador — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I have been going to papercup nearly every day for 3 years. Early this year they raised their prices by $0.50 on everything. A whole coffee was $0.50 extra but so was the syrup so a coffee with syrup was now $1.00 more. I continued to go. It is also used to be the same price for a plain croissant as it was for an almond croissant ($7), which pricing and ingredient wise doesn't seem correct. Seems the price increase was arbitrary and across the board without actually taking into account proper costing. When my almond croissant was burnt beyond recognition and they noticed because they tried to cover it up with icing sugar (which is not how it is usually served) I unfortunately still continued to go. In the last few months the service has just become worse with newer and younger people who don't care. I ordered online and watched people come into the store as I was waiting and get their coffee made before me. The priority of orders made should be first come, first served. When a lady who came in and ordered after me (as I had ordered before I even got there) I let it go as it was an iced latte and I figure they are fast to make. When they had taken two other groups of orders and began making those instead was when I had to ask if my order was even on the screen and the girl had to look for it and pretended it was in the line up being made. It wasn't. One of the actually decent new workers who was taking orders grabbed my cup and made it for me. I shouldn't have had to ask or say anything. Instead the girl on the coffee machine was just making orders that had walked in and ordered 10-15 minutes after I had already been there. I wouldn't have cared if my coffee had taken a really long time and they were busy but making orders and ignoring mine doesn't seem right.

Walked in at midday to find all the stools on the table and it looked like it was closed . There was a girl in the corner with her feet up on the bench on her phone . Absolutely Excellent Coffee, that's why you should visit. Honestly so few places are up to this standard. Not much going on the food end it's all pretty basic and on the higher end of pricing, but I do buy things from time because they are tasty.
