Crust Pizza Southport — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I really like Crust, but I won't be buying from this branch again. I have had 2 bad experiences this month:

1. Ordered a pizza for pick-up, only to arrive and find that the person who answered the phone did not record the order. We were given a free drink, which was fine, but didn't solve that we had to wait another 20 minutes.

2. This week I called once, no answer. Called back, and was left on hold for 10 minutes. I asked my parter to call to see if it was a joke, and he got through right away while I was still on hold. They had forgotten about the call. We were told the pizza would take 30 mins, so I went to pick it up at the appropriate time. After waiting an additional 40 minutes in the store, I got a really average (dry) pizza. Had they just been honest about how busy they were, I could have ordered from elsewhere. They didn't have any plastic forks for the salad either which was actually quite an inconvenience as we were going to eat at Broadwater. Had to scrap the whole idea. Needless to say there is lots of competition in this area and they just need to do better. I'll be ordering from 3...

BEST VEGAN PIZZA IN GOLD COAST !!! After trying Vegan pizza from Crust Pizza you will never order pizza elsewhere. Our first time ordering from Crust Pizza website we decided to try pulled jackfruit Vegan Pizza and Mushroom pineapple pizza. Arrived on time. Freshly made base perfect pizza base super delicious. The toppings were just the right amount not too much and not too little. Pulled Jackfruit, Mushrooms, even the herbs were super fresh. Slices were cut perfectly, Pizza size was much larger then expected. Felt like we were in some Italian pizza restaurant. Amazing Quality and Amazing Taste. I don't think i'll ever eat pizza from anywhere else. If you want quality Vegan pizza then Crust pizza is the best ever. I have tried Vegan pizza from alot of other places but they were disappointing. Most pizza places like dominoes, pizzahut, Feed the earthlings, Mandalas, buy cheap pizza bases to cut corners and pile it with salty cheap pizza paste, cover it in oily toppings so groase, that is why their pizza doesn't taste good and i always found it to be too salty...

Whilst I enjoy Crust's pizza's will not be going back to this store. After spending $50 for 2 pizza's we arrived at the time they said it would be ready and then had to wait 30 minutes as they store was not prepared for an eftpos payment as their paypass machine was flat. After 30 minutes of waiting for them to ring someone, try a solution come back and try something else until their paypass machine had finally charged enough to accept payment, we left with a grumpy 2 year old and there was only a 'sorry'. The pizza was sitting there cooked they just weren't organised to take our payment in this digital age. I was tempted to go get the 2 year old McDonalds just to get cash out for the pizza. Where is the customer service after you have to wait that long for lukewarm pizza that is on top of cooking time? Surely they could have offered a free garlic bread.
