My wife and I are originally from Italy and have been living here in Australia for quite some time now. As true lovers of traditional Italian gelato, we can honestly say that Scoop Gelato in Burleigh Heads is our go-to place — and it has been for a long time.

We’re regular customers because the quality is simply outstanding. Every flavour is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, reminding us of the authentic gelato we grew up with back home. It’s not easy to find this level of craftsmanship and authenticity, especially so far from Italy, but Scoop Gelato truly delivers.

Beyond the incredible gelato, what really sets this place apart is the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff. They are always friendly, courteous, and welcoming — it makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Scoop Gelati is amazing and I would recommend it without reservation to anyone. I bought a deluxe starwberry thick shake and it had four scoops of store made gelati in it. This thing was problematically thick. Essentially a strawberry flavoured non Newtonian fluid. While my girlfriend ordered her ice cream, I drank all of it in a few minutes, got severe brain freeze and as soon as she was finished paying I immediately ordered a second one. It was that good. The lady at the counter who had watched silently as I skulled the thickshake (Or as fast as is possible through a straw.) And staggered around with a headache eyed me over and said "I'll make you a second, but then I'm going to have to cut you off before you do any permanent damage." That is some good...

My friends and I tried to buy some ice cream from here and out of the three young girls working, two of them had dishwashing bubbles all over their face and heads and were yelling joking around with a big group of young boys. Completely ignored us as customers behind the guys, who weren’t ordering were just goofing around. One of the girls asked us if we wanted anything but our view of the flavours was so blocked as we were basically standing on the street behind this big group of 9 or so boys. They continued to laugh and flirt with the boys and ignore us so we left and got ice cream somewhere else. This happened at 8:55pm on the 24/05. We were utterly appalled at the unprofessional behaviour and the lack of basic customer service....
