Swannie's Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

The service here is absolutely terrible. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve been the only people in the bar and have had to wait for service while the staff chatted, zoned out or simply walked off while we were standing at the bar trying to get their attention. I wouldn’t go here at all if they weren’t showing the NFL. There are other places in town who air the games and also have great customer service.

Unfortunately, the issue that has really prompted me to leave a negative review after all this time is the fact that Swannies has used the information I provided for Covid tracing to spam my inbox with promotional material.

This is completely unacceptable and they didn’t even bother to reply when I flagged this with them via email. But then again, why would I suddenly expect better interaction when they can hide behind...

We had our staff Xmas party at Swannies from start to finish everything was perfect. We chose to have pre ordered tapas & drink package everything was perfect Tanya the owner was amazing & very helpful planning the event. Definitely a place we all needed on the northern end of the GC. Great atmosphere, very spacious indoor outdoor areas food which was great value for money & great variety of drinks. Live music by the Koi Boys Kevie sang to the crowd vibe was super cool. Highly recommend this venue to chill & listen to the amazing artist they have to get the crowd going. Where do I begin?! Absolutely INCREDIBLE staff, delicious food and gorgeous drinks! We were thoroughly taken care of and tried some of the staff recommendations, which let me tell you, exceeded our already high expectations; above and beyond! Best date night my partner and I have been on in ages. The live music was the cherry on top of our epic evening. A definite MUST TRY hidden Gold Coast gem! Pro tip: get the Swannie's Celebration cocktail for the prettiest, yummiest drink you will ever have in your life (and that's coming from a bar tender myself). THANK YOU Swannie's!!!
