VN Bakery — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Sorry the food was pretty good but the lady was so rude ! I did a split payment with my friend and she was shaking her head. She also yelled at my friends for sitting at the table and although the seats are only for the vn bakery, we were ordering from there and she allowed it (aggressively) after considering for a moment. Despite making it clear we were both eating together she only gave us one pair of chopsticks so I asked for another pair at the counter. I saw a bowl and a spoon with chopsticks, all of which looked like they weren’t cleaned properly and therefore assumed it was another customers finished meal. I asked if we could just have one set of chopsticks as my friend and I were sharing a bowl, and miscommunication was the problem there as she never specified it was for me. Instead of her complying to my request of just some chopsticks she was extremely passive aggressive about the situation. After me saying for the a millionth time I just wanted a set of chopsticks, she shook her head as she walked to get me a clean set of chopsticks and as she did, snatched it out of the tray and angrily grabbed a spoon before slamming it on the table in front of me. I said thanks nicely smiled at her and sat down. The manager looking old lady who wears glasses and has short hair is very rude I was ordering some food to a guy who’s a trainee and he was doing very well, but all of sudden this lady came up to us and said he was doing everything wrong and snatched an order sheet and told us she was gonna get an order instead of him But what she was writing on an order sheet was completely different with what I actually wanted to order and i asked her to re-correct my order 4 times, but she didnt even listen to me at all and kept cutting off my words. So i kept trying to tell her what i was going to order and she threw the order sheet to the trainee guy and told him to take an order. I completely dont understand why she was so rude the whole time and didn’t even try to listen to me while i was explaining that the order she wrote was completely wrong. The trainee was doing great jobs and took my order correctly but what i was seeing was she’s been yelling at him the whole time and saying he’s doing wrong. I’ve been here every single time whenever i feel like to eat Vietnamese food. Your food is great and everyone is very nice but only this lady. This is not a first time, whenever I go there and this lady is working, i always get horrible customer service. THE BEST pho I have had anywhere since moving to queensland. I certainly didn't expect to find it in a shopping centre cafe, but I did, and was so happy. I go there at least weekly for my fix of Chicken Pho. As a former Melbourne gal, we were spoiled for choice for true, authentic pho. It took me a couple of years to fall upon this place and had to try given that I saw it was always packed at lunchtimes with people enjoying a giant bowl of pho. It's not cheap due to the costs involved with being in a shopping centre, but it's miles and miles above any pho I've tried both on the Gold Coast, and in the Sunshine Coast, all of which I have to say have been vile. This pho is already seasoned, to perfection, with all the herbs and bean shoots - you just have to ask for chili if you want it once your number is called. Don't expect some up-market cafe with table service. This is a true Vietnamese place that is busy - so you look at the board, order, get your number, pay, and then it will be called. Oh, and their Banh Mi is excellent also - people with queue for it. Really annoying to see people complaining about the 'service'. What's to complain about?
