Zarraffa's Coffee Robina — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Handed the young cashier a partially torn $10 note (halfway torn), she took it, looked at it then tore the rest in half and then handed it back to me in two pieces, telling me she couldn’t accept it. I brought it up with her manager, saying that it’s okay that the cashier couldn’t accept it, but she didn’t have to completely tear it in half. She could’ve just given it back to me as it was and I could’ve used it elsewhere or exchanged at the bank. The manager then proceeded to back the cashier, exclaiming that it was an accident that she tore it completely in half even thought the manager wasn’t even there to witness it. The manager then offers how they can make up for it, so I asked for a new $10 note back. The manager says they can’t do that. Absolutely no help from the manager even though there is security camera footage of the cashier literally tearing up the note. Maybe, it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but if this were a $100 bill instead, things would’ve gone down differently. Was able to find a parking right outside.Arrived about 9.20am with a few pwople dinning in and no wait line so ww were able to order straight away .But there was soon a line of 4-5 people .Spent about $39 for me & my partner , I did find it abit over priced for what we got. I orderded the open club & smashed avo with a water . My partner ordered a Ham & Cheese crunch,beef roll and a long black. My open club was absolutly delishes the combination of the chicken,bacon and cheese was so good. The smash avo I had trouble eating , I would of preferred to put the lemon on myself as the lemon was very overpowering and way to sour for me to eat which was dissapointing . Service was fast as we waited about 10minutes before getting our meals and customer service was good. It does seem like it gets busy but I wouldnt recommend this place if you are looking for breakfast meals but only for on the go bite size options. Less likely to come back as Im not a coffee drinker but would recommned to give...

Spent almost $30 on cold drinks, not up to par, paid for icecream and whipped cream, got very little of both. Told worker who gave me a voucher for a small drink, didn't remake my poor drinks so I through them in the rubbish. Won't be back unless an apology is forthcoming and my drinks remade. Every other Zarraffas does an excellent job but this one at Robina. Staff need to be trained in making drinks properly as they are expensive so I do expect them to be made...
