Sometimes food can be emotional, my experience at Goulburn take away got to me. The staff and the owner (Paul) were lovely, i heard they make everything from scratch from the fish cutlets to the burger patties. I got the plain Aussie burger (not the lot) and chips, wow so so good. The chips were nice and fat and crispy but it was the burger which blew me away, it took me straight down memory lane to burgers I had years ago. I had forgotten how good an Aussie burger with salad, beetroot and bbq sauce can be, no brioche rolls, no medium rare patties just honest burgers done really well. Worst most disgusting food I have ever had. They gave me burnt chips and the chips were really soggy and old. The chicken was not fresh and I asked for extra chicken salt and they cannot follow simple instructions AMD lack good customer service. Please do not buy food from there if you know what's good for you. I have also had a few friends that went there and tried there for they will never go there again due to bad customer service. I really wanted to love this place, I gave it two chances and it was only worse the second time. First time food was overcooked and oily. I asked for chicken salt and could barely taste it. I also bought a bottle of drink and it was flat and tasted strange, I checked the use by and it was almost a year out.
