I recently had the pleasure of savoring a delightful meal at the highly acclaimed restaurant, Ka Chow. Although the exquisite culinary artistry instantly won me over, it was the immensely humble Andrew, whom I had the pleasure of meeting, that truly made my experience exceptional.
From the moment I stepped foot into Ka Chow, I could sense an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication. The tastefully decorated interior exuded a cozy yet elegant charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
As I perused the impressive menu, my decision-making skills were put to the test by the wide range of delectable options available. With excellent recommendations from Andrew himself, I settled for the mouthwatering Sizzling Satay Chicken.
However, what truly elevated my experience at Ka Chow was an unexpected encounter with a remarkable individual named Andrew. Throughout the evening, Andrew, a server at the restaurant, went out of his way to ensure that every guest felt genuinely cared for.
Andrew's humility was evident in the way he interacted with everyone, effortlessly making everyone feel like a VIP. His attentiveness and willingness to personalize each customer's experience were nothing short of astonishing. He engaged in conversations, diligently addressed dietary preferences, and took genuine interest in our...
Read moreIs this the best phở I've eaten? No. Is it pretty darn good for a shopping centre food court? Sure is!
I had the hankering for Vietnamese after a morning ordeal at IKEA. Whilst my wife preferred the chicken next door, I moseyed over to Ka-Chow. Quite a bit on the menu, with a good range of SE Asian dishes. Laksa was there, but in the battle of noodle soups phở will always win my heart.
A polite and well presented gentleman took my order, and it was delivered to our table in the hall area shortly after.
The broth was southern in nature - cloudier and sweeter than the northern style. It didn't require much seasoning correction although the lime was put to use increasing the sourness to my taste.
A little light on the gelatine for my palate. Great assortment of meat but a small portion for the price (I'm used to outlets in Inala where a bowl of phở the size of my head is the same price)
Will certainly keep this place in mind next time I return to...
Read moreThis is the first review I have ever made of a restaurant but I feel compelled because it is very good. We got a take away the first time and we were impressed even though we ate it an hour later. Yesterday we decided to stay and eat it fresh and we were equally impressed. The meats are char grilled to perfection, the salads are fresh. The chicken satay is one of the best I have had in a restaurant in Australia. We are looking forward to enjoying more meals there. My only small criticism is the food needs more punch. They cater to the masses so turn down some flavour, in particular chili. This is not an big issue because if you ask they happily supply chilies and whatever you want to lift the flavour. They are much better in many ways to the Thai Kinn restaurant in the same centre. They are quieter, cheaper, less crowded but they are not licensed. I highly recommend this Ka...
