I have been here a few times and it was good however this time it was terrible the food was terrible and the service was terrible. I ordered the vegetarian benny (cost $21) I asked if I could have it on an English muffin instead of the sourdough bread but they wouldn’t do that, they said I had to have the sourdough. My breakfast came out it looked terrible, who in their right mind puts the eggs in a separate container instead of on the bread (I might add there’s only 1 piece for bread with no butter on it) they put the mushrooms on the bread instead. The hollandaise sauce was also in a separate container, plastic container I might add. In a business point of view Why are they wasting money like that, a bamboo boat for the eggs a plastic container for the sauce all of these get thrown out cause they can’t be used again. Back to the food, the mushrooms had no flavour it was like they had been steamed with some spinach. Even the cherry tomatoes tasted weird like they were sprayed with oil and microwaved just to heat them. I put the eggs on the bread myself poured the hollandaise over it, it tasted like it was off. I hardly ate any of the food on the plate, that’s how bad it was. I told them the issues with the food, I asked for my money back and the lady said she didn’t want to refund my money. She eventually refunded the cost of the dish but she wasn’t happy about it. The coffee I had was nice. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and I will not...

Poor service Not enough staff on the floor. Chef can't cook a steak to order. We went there tonight as we tried to book for the night before but it was booked out so we booked for tonight instead. The restaurant was extremely busy and the service was poor. This was not the fault of the staff though, they were all good. There clearly weren't enough staff employed on the floor to cater for the amount of people. I asked them if this was busier then usual and they advised me that this was normal for a Fri or Sat. Therefore they should be staffed accordingly. We had a long wait for entree. I ordered a medium rare steak for dinner, it arrived and was what I would call medium to well done and dry. I ended up feeding it to a dog thats owners were sitting on the bar table next to us. I asked as they served mains if I could get a glass of wine with my meal. The waiter brought me back a menu, then left before I could order and I never got asked again, so no wine. Our main plates were not cleared. We waited for 20 mins after we finished dinner, then ordered dessert inside at the counter as we'd been instructed to do. When they brought out dessert, they couldn't put them down as they still hadn't cleared our mains. We're voting with our feet on this one and...

I’ve always thought preeces was pretty good, so took a friend there for bfast. Went to order a breaky wrap (on a weekday) and was told they sold out. So I asked for a breaky roll, got told they didn’t have any. He asked if I’d like a bacon, egg McMuffin, I said I didn’t like English muffin and asked if they could do a bacon, egg toasted sandwich, got told “they don’t do that” I asked if they could, I was happy to pay, he said no. So asked if I wanted to order bacon and eggs on toast and I could make my own. Just then the wraps turned up, I asked if I could have it without spinach, “no sorry it’s premade” ok, so the wrap was fine, my friend waited an extra 10mins for her bfast after I’d had mine. I went to the toilet (down the back past the kitchen) and there were signs everywhere “don’t abuse staff” and “do not consume outside food on premises” the inside is dated like an old cafeteria and there’s kitchen equipment and boxes in the seating area (sure that wouldn’t pass workplace health and safety) the staff didn’t seem to care, not asking how our meals were, they were quite rude and seemed like we were inconveniencing them by being there. There are many more better choices along the front street so good luck to them!...

Met up with family for a quick bite here. Very crowded, not really any 'atmosphere'. Service was okay - not particularly friendly or prompt. I had a mocha frappe - too icy, not mixed long enough; he had a strawberry thickshake which was okay; sis had a bottled ginger beer, and niece had a lemon, lime and bitters (bottled?). My fish salad was fresh tho they were out of salmon at midday! and the barramundi was overcooked. Hubby's halloumi and corn fritter burger once again was okay, but lacked sauce on the bun, and the fritter was more egg than corn. Little niece had a small pancake with cream and maple syrup, and we had a bowl of chips which were a bit limp, and had so salt or seasoning at all. Shared a slice of cake which had meringue thru it.

Close to 5 star or 4.5 star. Service was touch and go - disorganised. Multiple waitresses asking for the same order even after having made the order -per peeve of mine when being a little organised would allay those errors (personal hospitality experience). The pumpkin pizza was actually rather good :-). Fettucini Amatriciana seemed to be missing something but maybe it was perfect but I'm not a fan of the recipie. The view and local walks available are a great asset to the restaurant we went on several. Fyi Tuesday is 2 for 1 pizza or pasta night -Was great value at $29.40 Inc red wine and gin and tonic. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have other special deals. Enjoy!

Beautiful cafe set by the water with amazing views of the jetty. I was greeted by Lavender, the sweet lady behind the counter. She had a smile from ear to ear and was happy to see me 😁. I ordered the dairy free option Wagyu burger with chips. It was yummy. It had a Wagyu pattie, bacon, onion, tomato, and lettuce and an egg that was beautifully runny inside. The chips were nice and hot, and the burger was a tower of a feast. All ladies were very friendly, and the chefs out the back were also personable. My mum had a selection from the dessert box. Whoah, you should see these deserts. They are next level. Superbly made with love. I'll be back for sure.
