Breakfast: Beautiful heritage building with large lawn and plenty of seating around the deck for you to relax. Coffee was fine and staff were friendly. The food itself left alot to be desired from a business described as boutique. I had the eggs (poached) and bacon on sourdough $13.50. The poached eggs were cooked completely through, though I'll accept fault here as I didn't specify otherwise. Only one small piece of sourdough came with the meal and it was soggy to the point of mush when it arrived. Overall it tasted fine, but it was on par with a breakfast you would expect at tradies motel. I'll likely try again next time I pass though and how it was a one off, as the location is very convenient but quietly set back away from the main Street. 5 stars for the venue and staff. -2 for the lackluster food.

What a lovely tourist place!!! Don't miss it!! you can feel the prayer in this place. Like the signs say on the highway "the newest cafe in town" and what a fantastic history it has! Once a Presentation Sisters Convent converted into a guest house and coffee shop. Beautiful verandahs, a beautiful area out the back wrapped in grape vines and dotted with pot plants to make you relax. Clean toilet out the back and don't forget the coffee and cakes and yummy afternoon teas and light lunches!!! Make a point of coming to this place!!! You will love the history, the furnishings, the food and coffee!!! They finish up about 3.30 in the afternoon so don't delay!!! Be blessed!!!

Just beautiful. Airy, stylish and facilities to suit travelers. Super high ceilings. Glamour but a premium on comfort. Best of all there is a delightful cafe on site and open from 7:30am every day. We didn’t use the private pool but noticed it was very safe with lots of side tables and lounges for occupants. Shared courtyard completely covered by a tent canopy. Clever choice. Arrival is simple - one, or for internal rooms two keys. Close to centre of town.

If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. I drove from Melbourne to Queensland and stayed the night coming back from Queensland. Our family suite was stunning my kids had an absolute ball.Kids we’re so excited when they opened up the fridge and saw the refreshments in the fridge I wasn’t expecting anything in the fridge as most places just have the standard coffee and tea The beds were comfortable as soon as my head touched the pillow I was out like a light. Suite was clean and tidy the girls really do a good job .The staff there are amazing Meggs is absolutely wonderful to deal with as I was running late with checking in she made sure we got into suites safely. There cafe is amazing definitely if your passing through Hay NSW and need to rest your head or just have a coffee the Convent is the place to stop. Definitely will be back. Thank you everyone there for looking after my family and myself. You guys are awesome especially Meggs your 1 in a million. Definitely...

Pleased to find this place tucked away behind the motels on the main drag. Newly renovated by the entertaining and friendly Geoff, everything is very clean and fresh. There's a few little additions that would make a difference to the feel of the rooms - more attention to lighting is one. There's some quite blinding eco-light bulbs in the ceilings which are really quite out of keeping with the feel of the rooms. Only one bedside table lamp. Not much space for towels etc in the bathrooms. Minor quibbles, but they kind of add up to the feeling that a little more thought is needed as to how to finish this project off in style. Food was good and plentiful served by some delightfully...
