A quiet and sparse reserve on the banks of the Murrumbidgee river. Well worth the walk to explore. Watch out for mosquitoes. It also features a BMX track, seating, and a sculpture trail. There is some evidence of indigenous presence using tree bark. The floods of 2022 have damaged the footpaths but it's still a nice place.

Great place to walk along side the river or cycle. Some bring their dogs for a walk. Nice and quiet place to calm down. Info centre in town provide free bicycle that you can take advantage of. Also the first stop in the long paddock journey is her with the sculpture of the bridge crossing the main river in Hay.

A meandering flat gravel path alongside the river. You can hire free bikes from the information centre and ride along the path. Dogs are allowed on leads. Beautiful sculptures by Australian artist are located along the path. Plenty of places to stop, sit and enjoy the view. A must see when in Hay!

Bushy bend reserve is a great place to walk and run and also to see birds. It's a place of tranquility where you can just sit and relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the bush and river. There are pretty pinic spots alon the whole river bank so there is plenty of room for all. Also a bush road allows access close to the picnic areas for easy access. You can find sculptures and indigenous artwork along the trail to further enhance your experience. Don't think about it do it...
