I don’t love to leave bad reviews but I feel very compelled to warn people about the pricing of this place. I had to contact the owner after seeing my charge, who confirmed ham & cheese croissants I purchased were $12 each (!); I won’t go into the quality of the pastry & coffee itself, you can judge yourself — but, Lune, one of the most famous bakeries in Australia/internationally renowned & based in the CBD (so lower overheads), charges less for the same product! Wasn't impressed when the mother of the cashier reserved 20% of the seating in the cafe and we were ushered into the 'staff' table (next to the coffee machine, coffee grinder and ninja bullet). Fair enough, she did place her bag on the table before us, she then directed us to our 'table' but she still hadn't taken a seat by the time we were leaving after had our snacks. We try and support local businesses when we travel but it’s annoying when you do and you feel ripped off after. $7 for a muffin, a very basic muffin, not gf or anything fancy just a simple muffin.
