2nd visit: 23 April 2022, 7:15pm As per the suggestion of the owner in response to my first review (below), I tried the Yankee Burger and decide to put it in an upsized meal. The burger was excellent - crispy crumbed chicken breast and an easy salad, in a wonderfully soft bun. The dressing for the salad plus chicken was delicious. The upsized chips/fries were classed as "medium" but, anywhere else, they would be a large serving. The medium serving of chips is big at a very decent price. The chips were cooked fresh and seasoned well and tasted great. I'm very happy with the return visit and the owner's food recommendation. Thank you!

Excellent, professional, friendly and patient staff. They were happy to explain and show food elements and sizes to help us make our decisions. The quality of the food was good and we felt the price point was good. The photo of the chicken shcnitzel with gravy and veggies may not look the best but the person eating it really enjoyed the meal. I don't recall the name of the burger - it contained pineapple, bacon (or ham) and what looked shredded chicken. Everything was good (I personally don't like any form of shredded/pulled meat and would've preffered a crumbed chicken breast). I thought the bun was a little crusty on the base (but I'm also very fussy with burger buns). Overall a good meal and I will return to try a different burger style suiting my tastes (when I'm back on Hobart). Happy...

After a misdelivered order (ordered at 6:30pm) by a delivery provider, we decided to order our food again (at 7:30pm), as it wasn't the restaurants fault.

Sadly, our second order turned up cold, poor quality and with our original, 6:30pm receipt attached... I had the expectation that my new order would be prepared and sent fresh, not food that was sitting somewhere for up to an hour!

I would hope the food wasn't returned by whoever received it incorrectly the first time and then happily sent to my home! A really poor decision by the Bellerive store...

Been going to L & B for many years, but after tonight's meal, probably won't be going back. Chicken was dry & chips were dry & the bag was soggy, so nothing was fresh - which is really disappointing since we have always raved about their chips being so good normally. Most of our meal was thrown away & all of us feel crook in the stomach.
