Horsham Palace — Restaurant in Horsham

We had a party of 8 on a Sunday night. Everyone at the table had nothing but good comments about the food. The portions were large and delicious. I ordered my favourite Crispy Lemon Chicken as always and it didn't disappoint. The servers were good at their job and very friendly. We all ordered an entree that arrived quickly but the main course took quite a bit longer than it should. Let me say however, the restaurant was inundated with takeaway orders so that could explain the delay. As for atmosphere, not very much. It would have been nice to have some quiet music playing and perhaps the lighting could have been dimmed just a little but everything else was great. Absolute disgrace we ordered our meals and ordered prawn crackers they were cooked about 2 hours ago freezing cold and not even crispy bringing this to our waiter’s attention we were greeted with they are always cold she took them away after some time we asked if they were going to replace them and were told extremely rudely no because we serve them cold after being so rude and several other people in the restaurant also coming up and saying that they weren’t very happy either we decided to leave and told them we weren’t paying anything by the way when we left we went to the new Thai restaurant Saengjan in Horsham where we where greeted with a huge smile and great service thanks to Pang our waitress I know where we will be spending our money and patronage in the future and...

I went out on a Wednesday night for a party, they let us put up balloons and bring tables together which was lovely however the food was disappointing. I ordered the honey chicken and a small steamed rice however I was greatly disappointed when the chicken showed up drowning in pure honey syrup, and the rice that they forgot to bring out at first didn't even help with the sickeningly sweet dish. Most meat dishes have no vegetables and most carbohydrates have to be orderd seperatly meaning it is expensive to get a well rounded meal. As for atmosphere it just isn't impressive.
