I was keen to try this place as I was travelling through Horsham, but left a bit disappointed. The front of house service was lovely, but we waited 25 minutes in a fairly empty store; although, the kitchen is small so I understand that. There is a wide variety of drinks, which means there should be something to suit you! There are also milkshakes, but I didn’t see the sign for that until I had already ordered. The walls have brick exposed, a section of the ceiling is missing and the air conditioner was leaking water all of the seat below - everything felt a bit unfinished. The onion rings were very hit and miss; I absolutely love onion rings but these were very inconsistent. Some were good, some were overdone, and there were a bunch of little bits left in the container. The loaded fries aren’t anything too special, just a bit of sauce and some chicken - however, it was alright. The burger was good, and the patties are nice, however they are extremely small in comparison to the buns which means some bites are just all bread. The patties were also quite oily and dripped a lot. I prefer a more snug burger wrap, however the loose wrap does do just fine! Unfortunately, a pretty mediocre experience. I suspect all of the food was as it is intended, but it just doesn’t match up with other places I’ve been to * Update for clarity: the patties themselves aren’t small, they are about the same as most burger places. The buns are just huge, which makes the patties seem small in comparison and takes away from the burger

Ok, so we go back a bit with Stewart when he said yes to working with a bunch of volunteers, after surviving lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 to help cater for the inaugural 150km Feast at Maydale Reserve - Dinner Under the Stars over two nights back to back. Fast forward to 2025 and he’s the head chef again leading us into our fifth event and we’re excited for this menu. Considering he’s an incredible fine dining chef, you can only imagine what his burger creations are like. So when we’re not feasting under the stars we’re buying tropical chicken burgers to keep the crew happy! Gotta love a bit of pineapple🍍

Had the classic chick and classic beef burgers with chips and onion rings. Chicken was crispy and decent size. Beef patty was good ground beef with cheese and mustard. Buns are good too, not too sweet. Fries were nice but the onion rings had too much oil, understand they aren’t ordered often (onion breath anyone?) the batter has to be just right and fried in hot boiling oil. Recommend this place if you are in town.

Having just moved to Horsham from Melbourne, some food was needed after the long drive. A burger joint is always a good measure of a town and let me tell you, Bad Boy Burger Co is amazing. Only the goodest of good boys working when we dropped in, exhausted. The guys were incredibly friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to try making something for my 60+ year old father with strict food limitations (he needed some special enzyme pills just in case, but he was in burger heaven). I'm a cripple on crutches for a spinal injury and was very comfortable while we sat in to have our dinner, impressed with the facilities ease of access ♿ My burger was hands down the best I think I've ever had from any shop - top tier ingredients and perfect balance of flavours. And then there's the KIEV LOADED FRIES! So. Dang. Good! You're missing out if you don't get the Kiev loaded fries. Never seen loaded fries done like that before so if you're passing by, get the Kiev loaded fries. If you're a local, make sure you try the Kiev loaded fries ASAP!

So the good boys at Bad Boy Burger Co are getting a visit from me tonight for...

If you told me a year ago that a burger joint in Horsham would change my life, I would have laughed and asked for whatever you were drinking. But here I am, a living testament to the transformative power of a perfectly grilled patty.

I walked into Bad Boy Burger as a broke, struggling professional, unsure of my future. The moment I bit into their ‘Nashville Bad Boy’ burger, something magical happened. It was like my taste buds had a conference call with my brain and decided, ‘Hey, it’s time to get our act together!’

Within weeks, I landed a dream job, found my soulmate, and even discovered I have a hidden talent for advanced Japanese joinery. Coincidence? I think not.

Now, I’m a successful entrepreneur, and I owe it all to that one fateful visit. Bad Boy Burger, you not only filled my stomach but also filled my life with unimaginable success and joy. Plus, the owner is a total hunk, which definitely doesn’t hurt the...
