McDonald's Springfield Orion F/C — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Just wow literally the worst experience in any McDonald store anywhere. You don’t expect a lot but this was beyond my worst expectations Where do I start. Stood at the service counter and had a range of staff looking at me and walking away. No acknowledgement of my presence and the store was empty. After some time, maybe 5 minutes of having various staff including the manager stare and ignore us, a young man took my order A quarter pounder meal with a strawberry shake and a mcCrispy meal were also ordered Advised that milk shakes were not available so we requested a Diet Coke and standard coke for the drinks. As we opened the meals noted the drink was soda water with colouring. Back to the counter and was glared at by all staff waited until someone ’walked over rolling their eyes and was provided a less weak drink back to my meal. Partner said that the chips were cold and tasteless I opened My cold mccrispy chicken fillet that was dry and a wilted piece of lettuce along with cold over cooked unsalted chips. Back to the counter to search for salt and found only pepper was again ignored and had to ask 2 staff for salt. No smile no sorry no concern and no salt. However after expressing my concern Several minutes went by and the (I assume manager) said she will give me another chips. A warm unsalted pack of chips were delivered to the table. I cannot express the distain that was experienced by us from the staff there I was and am speechless. There was a staff member scratching her head no net on her hair reading her mobile and bagging meals including open chips several other people walked into the store advising of similar concerns about their take meal purchased at drive through. And they also waited ridiculous times without any communication or service. appalling service, communication...

My friend ordered her meal from the self serve, paid and waited as usual for her meal. After about 10mins, she approached one of the girls at the counter to ask why her meal was taking so long because everyone whom we ordered before has gotten their meal and left, only for the staff to tell us that they did not have any hotcakes and one of the staff has gone downstairs to get some, 5mins after that we approached the counter again because my friend was on medication and had to eat after taking the meds. At this point she couldn't wait any longer, so we asked for our money back to get something else, the staff had to call her female manager for that. The manager approached the counter with a straight face, did not apologise for the wait or inconvenience, gave us our money and walks away. Absolutely terrible, ordered just nuggets and took an hour of waiting to see my order wasn’t even there. Saw multiple other customers complain about food getting made incorrectly, not coming out at all, or frankly just walking away because it took to long. The management needs to up there game and work together to make food come out fast and on correct order. Saw multiple cups of full drinks just sitting behind the counter, about 15+. The person young man who was working at the grill completely didn’t care they had probably 10 orders to make. One guy to be making meals in a busy food court, close to end of day 3/4 pm.
