Disappointing. Friendly staff, but terrible food. God knows how they've got so many 5 star reviews, maybe friends n family?
The honey chicken and lemon chicken are the same thing, but the lemon chicken comes with a container of watery syrup to pour on it. The 'chicken' itself is balls if fried squishy dough, with a tiny bit of chicken hidden inside, if at all. As if they've come out of a giant bag of frozen imported crap.
The spring rolls were burnt.
The omelet was incredibly oily.
The noodle soup was basic, bland, and tasted weird.

The meat was dry, the vegetables were small and little and like the beef no silky texture derived from the basic use of corn flour. The Mongolian beef was no better. A waste of money in my book, but when your limited to quality restaurants within the area, what do you do? Very disappointed with what Kalbarri has to...
