Hungry Jack's Burgers Kingaroy — Restaurant in Kingaroy

I’ve been waiting for this day literally for 15 years living in this area. Let’s compare: HJ’s. Other: Fresh chips. Stale semi warm Full size hamburger. Gone in 4 bites. Hot fresh coffee. Wait 10mins, warm. Parking, good drive thru. Cue onto road. Fresh tasty chicken. Ran out of chicken! Milkshake etc. Machine out of order Friendly smile. Grunt or nothing. Can see all menu. Highest profit items. Orders taken x 2. Use 1 save wages Clean everything. All grotty, Toilets omg! I know HJ’s brand new but really how long have we all been putting up with poor food, running out of food, ridiculous wait times, always & I mean always some part of your order missing or messed up, no cutlery, no Servette etc! I’ve lost count of how many times! Is great trying to eat mash and gravy or coleslaw with your fingers! Rehashed chips that you could break a tooth on! On and on I could go. Customer service is terrible, you cannot hear them at the drive thru or the service windows or the in store counter. Is whispering apart of your sales technique to charge extra for things we did not order or to get the whole order wrong, you pay extra for bacon, cheese etc that you never get. Hot food is all cold, no ice in cold drinks. Chips that are only half full, chicken nuggets are so hard & dry, the dog wouldn't even eat them. McDonald's Kingaroy has better everything ....hot food, quick, polite & friendly customer service, and a added bonus you receive everything you order! The parking area is WTF of a design, a 12 yr old could do a better building plan. If the drive thru is busy your going to have to wait in your car till the traffic clears or you find that rare polite person that will leave a gap in the drive thru line to let you out of the carpark. Staff do not wear name tags so it's hard to make a complaint regarding the certain team member's that bring down the...

I'm a HJ's Fanatic and devotee of many years for take away. Haven't done a review on this store until now because they've only been open a few weeks. In a word...Disappointing. Wait times are disappointing. Burgers have consistantly been luke warm at best. Ultimate Double Whopper or Bacon Deluxe. Chips are great. Staff lovely. At 9.45am few people there but still luke warm burger, no meat patties for whoppers and couldn't have my frozen red fanta because it was still defrosting. I put this down to teething problems so hopefully management will fine tune. C'mon HJ's looking forward to getting teething...
