Been twice, once for dine in soon after they opened and recently for takeaway.
This is a casual Japanese eatery in Springwood Mall, one of several new restaurants that have opened there within the last half a year or so.
There is a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and ordering is via QR code from your table. Pay at the counter upon leaving; a card surcharge applies.
It was marketed as an izakaya (that's what got my wife's attention) though the menu here is largely a fairly standard looking lineup of rice bowls (donburi), noodle soups, various sushi rolls, and some nigiri and sashimi options. They do serve some skewers (yakitori) and sides including a tempting potatornado (ie potato tornado) prawns we spotted at a neighbouring table.
Food we've had across 2 visits fresh salmon don, $17.90 beef yakiniku don, $16.90 chashu don, $16.90 curry don, $15.90 karaage roll, $10.90
Service was friendly and responsive. When we dined in there was an extended delay with one of our items which we had to chase up with the kitchen. They advised some sort of internal issue for which they were apologetic and gifted us with a bottle of apple juice which the boy was happy to receive.
When placing our takeaway order online there was an issue with scheduling a pickup time, so we did it without scheduling and a quick follow up phone call to the store ensured a later pickup.

Staff are very friendly and open; I appreciate them a lot. They even gave our table a box of tissues, which was something most takeaway restaurants don't do, so I was pretty surprised! Atmosphere was calming too.
If you're hungry and unsure what to eat, please do try out Beyond Sushi. Staff are so kind, service is good, and food is delicious. It might be pricey to you, but I think...

Arrived just as they had opened. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor is limited.
You order at the counter for dine-in. Service was quick as it took around 10min. I would give the atmosphere a 5 if it weren't raining.
Karaage Chicken Curry Udon: The Noodles were chewy and bouncy just how I like it. The curry was very mild. The Karaage chicken was one of the most crispy chicken I've ever had.
Crab Salad Roll with Mayo: 8 pieces which were good but not outstanding.
I recommend it but I'm not in a rush to come back...
