I have lived in underwood for many years.

Today,

The staff from the bar was extremely rude and terrible.

She treated us like an insect.

We just wanted to have one schooner of beer and ordered it.

We asked some peanuts but she asked us that we have to play the pokie if we want to have free peanut... and so we had to spent money which I have never played.

I have been here many times but never been told that we had to play to get PEANUTS.

In the past, the staffs were always very kind provided free peanuts. Even I gave them some tip for good service.

That's why I left 5 stars before.

Anyways, we decide to play the pokie and she came near and did an inspection that we were really playing.

After that my mate spilled a bit of beer and she came to our table and looked us like something terrible and told us "you should show some resper next time!" With frown face.

On her way back she shaked her head and it made us so pissed!

I asked her "what is wrong with you" And she kept saying that "I just asked you that show some respect"

Is that really for the person who provide customer service????? Even in a hotel??.???????

I asked to her to speak her manager and the manager showed up and leaned on the bar and twisted his leg and looked and said nothing.

"Are you the manager?" "Yes"

At least if he knew what the sitauation was, he should come to our table and asked it.

At least start with "SORRY" If he tried to solve this problem.

The worst worst service ever.

The people from next table also came to us and agree about her and supported us as they have been treated as same.

I never believe how come these kind of people are working in a service area.

Horrible.

Never would come back agian.

People should know about...

What a disaster... Spent Mothers Day breakfast here yesterday - never again will I even step foot in the place... If they have one, the Functions Manager should be dismissed. 8 small warmers for over 200 people. On 5 visits, 6 of the 8 food warmers were empty every time. 80 percent of the food came out of a tin (mushrooms, whole tomatoes, baked beans, juice, fruit) Absolutely hideous and clearly not enough food. The food, when you could get it was less than ordinary. Totally disgusting. The staff - much the same as the poor quality of food or even the supply of food. The staff were overwhelmed - those that were on the floor. There wasn't enough of them and they were clearly stressed. I asked a question of the chef - the bar man (more senior) bluntly told me that they were too busy. No apology, no more explantation. Nothing.

So there are two things. The Duty Manager - no where to be found, and if she/he was, there was no visibility at all. The breakfast was a massive failure. The food quality was very poor, and thats when you got some. More often than not, there was none. The staff were clearly understaffed. Even the kitchen staff were under staffed. j

The Function Manager - if there is one... needs to be immediately let go. Clealry no clue at all how to manage or execute a function. Yes it was only $20 per head for the buffet but the buffet never came into fruition. All tinned food, totally disgusting. I was lucky to get $5 worth of food. The Function Manager needs a giant kick in the proverbial. I will never ever come to this hotel again and will tell everyone who enquires to avoid it...

We visited HQ last night booked a table, we ordered food from the app and didn’t take too long for our meals 7 adults (it wasn’t a busy night) we had two steak meals they were not cooked well very dry considering I ordered medium rare ( I couldn’t eat it all) the best part was the greens on my plate) The parmy was of large size but no option for a smaller size like other venues, menu wasn’t very appealing very expensive not many choices for a smaller budget, most specials were crossed off unavailable, now to the service I don’t recall anyone coming over to ask how our meal was, we had a friend up from Sydney and we chose here because it is usually I nice place to dine and staff are usually friendly, we stayed at the table after we finished catching up adult kids were in the kids room spending money on the games and toy machines staff came over and said we close in 5 minutes and you have to leave or move to gaming room but we couldn’t as we had a baby with us, I asked if we could just stay here for a bit longer but that wasn’t a option so we had to move outside to the balcony I went up to get another drink to be told sorry we have closed here you need to go to pokies to get that, couldn’t even get a drink from the public bar all before 9pm so go to pokies and have to wait 10 or so minutes every time as the one staff member kept disappearing, now the bathrooms walking to female toilets and it stunk of urine so bad made me feel sick they were not clean, I’ve been to this venue over the years many times and never felt so disappointed in the service and left feeling like wow I’d...
